Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Country stores were once the center of rural and business life. This place is no ordinary rental. The vibe is part pool hall, part jail (seriously!), and overall, totally unique. The Old Brownsburg Store B&B is located in Historic Brownsburg, once a stagecoach stop between Staunton and Lexington, and has been modernized to provide all the comforts of home and necessities of travel while still holding onto the feeling that you’ve just walked into an episode of ‘The Andy Griffith Show’.

The space
Our B&B was originally built in 1815, during the James Madison Presidency; it's been recently restored in a manner which modernized the buildings infrastructure while maintaining the original charm - as a guest, you get the full experience of being transformed to 1815 but with all the modern comforts of a cozy home. We're located centrally in Historic Brownsburg; the only village in Rockbridge County included on the National Register of Historic Places - a unique and special distinction. Our B&B is located diagonally across from the museum and next to the Old Post Office and the Village is very walkable.

The Village boasts 20+ Historic buildings, dating from the early 1700s to the early 1900s and includes several old Taverns, a School House, an Old Church, a Bank, a Shoemaker shop, several old General Stores (including ours), and more... all are now full or part time homes. In addition this Village and the area are steeped in History.

THE SPACE:
SAFETY FIRST: As we first want to ensure our Guests Safety as our first priority, our B&B uniquely includes:
