The Space

Hi! I am offering my two room apartment beautifully located in Vesterbro, Copenhagen.

It has a unique architecture and it is an old brewery grain silo that has been converted into a modern apartment with high ceiling, large privat rooftop with sunbeds etc. and a view of most of central Copenhagen, chairs and table and 20 mbit wireless internet.

The apartment is located in Vesterbro, the cultural heart of Copenhagen, and within walking distance to both Frederiksberg Castle and Frederiksberg Gardens.

I want to give my guests a memorable experience, and my apartment is fully equipped for you stay.

How to get here?
Easy! If you are arriving from Copenhagen Airport you can go by the "Ørestadstog" - train called either ØR followed by a 4 digit number. It will take you to Copenhagen Central Stration from where you catch the bus for approx 10 minutes.
I will provide exact details about direction when you have booked;o)

  • What a fabulous apartment! We stayed for 4 nights and we had everything we needed. The terrace was great and the facilities were great. A bus right across the street takes you directly into the centre of town and there are several restaurants and supermarkets in the neighbourhood, which makes everything easy. The host, Ellen, was generous, friendly, kind, and so easy to chat with upon arrival and during our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here and we are very grateful to Ellen for being so awesome.

  • Ellen's apartment exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully presented with a great view and ideal location. Ellen even provided us with milk, bread and pastries. If ever we go back to Copenhagen this is the only place we would stay.

  • Ellen was the BEST host, so kind and caring. She gave us a full tour if the apartment and building. She was so nice to provide us with local fresh bread, pastries fruit and juices. The place itself was exactly as pictured, perfectly maintained and centrally located. Fantastic kitchen to cook in, amazing terraces and living spaces. We could not ask for a better place to stay. We highly recommend Ellen's gorgeous apartment, and will definitely return on our next trip to Copenhagen!

  • The Flat was like a perfect sweet cocoon, also very well situated, easy to find when arriving from the airport. We did not have the opportunity to meet Ellen-Margrethe directly that's why we surely come back and try again :-). Many thanks for everything !

  • Me and my partner Natalia, we had the opportunity to meet Ellen, a wonderful person! There she received us on her beautiful home with the utmost dedication. Refrigerator loaded, city maps, and an introduction to the history of the building of her house. The house is very comfortable and well positioned. We went every day to the city center by foot. Hopefully one day be able to receive her at our house in Milan. Thanks Ellen!!!;-)

    Response from Ellen-Margrethe:

I appreciate your feedback, however it is NOT ok to open my expensive whiskey without asking!!!
This is not acceptable, and you will not be welcome another time.

  • I came here with a friend of mine for 4 days to attend PhD course at Aalborg University. We had a great stay. The apartment is too big for two persons. We were welcomed very kindly by Ellen. She gave us some information about cafes and bars in the neighborhood which were really good.
In all, it is fantastic apartment in a great location. It has nice decoration and nice-old style furniture.
    Very recommendable.
