When you book the place save the House Manual and Directions emailed with the booking information. Here you will find directions to my place and the key's location.
Once you have the key and are inside there will be a blue binder explaining all you need to know about the place (home entertainment, Wifi password, heat, etc). The place is all yours for the length of your stay!

It comes complete with everything you'll need from towels and laundry to an iron, microwave, coffee/tea, coffee grinder, slow-cooker, blender...
With a queen bed in the main bedroom and a queen Futon in the addition bedroom it can sleep 4 comfortably. There is another Futon in the living room if you need an extra bed.
For home entertainment the place comes with high speed Wifi and a VGA and/or HDMI cords to hook your laptop/device (think Netflix) up to the TV (NO Cable, but there’s a ton of VHS and DVD movies). There's a living room, full kitchen, bath, laundry, child and dog-proof fenced yard with a deck, BBQ, fire pit, and a driveway parking spot, parking in front on the road is also a free option if the driveway is full. If you’ve never stayed in a trailer park and are a little wary have no fear, it is safe and secure, my neighbors are quiet and friendly. Please smoke outside. Pets are welcome as long as they are trained, please clean up after your pet.
Feel free to make use of the organic herb box in the kitchen window. At this time of I’ve got chives, cilantro, rosemary, sage, basil and oregano.
Enjoy Golden and all it has to offer! Its about a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk to 'downtown'. On the highway #1 strip The Range restaurant/bar adjacent to the Ramada Inn is a good bet, their fish and chips is the best. In town the restaurants are also good and plentiful. Some of my favorites are the White Tooth Bistro, Eleven 22 and The Island Restaurant. Jita’s café is a local favorite for lunch. The new Bluebird café is also a hit for breakfast and lunch (6:30AM until 5:00PM daily) on the way out of town towards Kicking Horse (9th Ave N.) Bars are also plentiful and most serve good food. Right down-town you’ve got Taps pub and the Rockwater bar and nightclub. The Riverhouse pub is just behind Taps along the river, make sure you try the ‘Shaft’ if you like coffee drinks. Across the traffic bridge take a left at the second set of lights and you’ll find the Omega bar and Turning Point Restaurant on you’re right, on the left is The Wolf's Den restaurant and bar. Farther down on the left is The Trapper pub and restaurant. Red Tomato Pies does good delivery pizzas. There is a Liquor store on the Highway at the Prestige Hotel. Overweightea and Sobeys are the grocery stores in town.
Winter Activities in the area are unlimited, here's some options: Snowboarding and downhill skiing at Kicking horse or touring at Roger's Pass, X-country skiing, Snowshoeing, Sledding (snowmobiling), Ice Skating, Ice climbing…
And for Summer, we’ve got: Mountain biking (downhill and X-country), white water rafting, swimming at Cedar Lake, zip lining, skydiving, paragliding and hang-gliding (tandem available), hiking, climbing, fishing, golfing, boating at Kinbasket Lake (must have own boat), canoeing, kayaking...
Golden's local Mtn for lift operated skiing/snowboarding/mtn biking is Kicking Horse.
Guests have access to the fenced-in deck and yard; BBQ; laundry, the organic garden in Summer; full use of the kitchen and everything in it (dishwasher, stove, fridge, microwave, coffee grinder and coffee maker, slow cooker, popcorn maker, blender, waffle iron, etc), two bedrooms with dresser/closets, iron with board, a parking spot in the driveway and another our front of my place.
Interaction with Guests
I'll just let you know where the key is and guesty.com will contact you to see how everything is going. Guesty.com will be taking care of my online bookings and Susan my housekeeper in trailer #34 will be nearby and available at 250-344-3956.
It's a quiet and secluded trailer park, close to everything you need.
To truly appreciate the awesomeness of Golden and take advantage of all my 'Trome' has to offer, stay for a few days and soak up life in the Kootenays.
It's about a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive to 'downtown', Kicking Horse is a 20 minute drive from my place/town.
Other Things to Note
Lake Louise is an hour East, Banff is 45 mins further East, Roger's Pass is 45 mins West, Revelstoke is 1.5 hrs West, and Radium Hot Springs is an hour South. Fairmont, Invermere (Panorama Resort) are about 1/2 an hour further South...
P.S. - I recommend filling up with gas in Alberta, as the gas prices can be anywhere from 10 to 30 cents more per litre in BC! The closer to Calgary you get, the better the prices will be...
P.P.S. - Golden is on 'mountain time', the same time as Banff and Calgary. There is a time change between Revelstoke and Golden so it is an hour later in Golden than in Revelstoke/Vancouver.
Please remove your shoes at the door. Pets are welcome as long as they are trained, please clean up after your pet. There is an ashtray on the deck, please smoke outside. Message me through Airbnb or talk with Sue if you have any problems or queries. Susan also has a set of keys. PLEASE DO NOT BOTHER THE PARK MANAGER, HE DOES NOT HAVE A KEY TO MY TRAILER, OR HAVE ANY INFORMATION ABOUT MY TRAILER. Watch your step in winter, it can be icy.
