The Space

The flat has a wood oven, wooden floors, trendy design objects and recycled furniture.
Just 20mts aways there is one of the best Jazz clubs, "La fountaine" where you can usually enjoy live music.
The flat is in the court yard so no noise from the walking street "Kompagnistræde". This was the first walking street in Copenhagen, still the nicest, less commercial, more bohem, now the largest is "Strøget" just 50mts away.
The area offers unlimited cafes, restaurants and nightlife options everything the city has to offer is within walking or Bike distance.

Been in central Copenhagen means you don't need to spend on public transport or on the high priced taxis. The metro and train station lies a few blocks away to take you anywhere in the city or out to the countryside. Other ways everything is within walking distance!

The place accommodates 4 guest. It's on the second floor and we offer everything you need to make your stay pleasant.

We speak English, French, Italian, Danish and Spanish.

The Neighborhood

What to do In town and around:
Apart from the all touristic popular places, here are some tips:
There is a cafe at the main post office on the top, so you can see the whole city from above, very nice. Actually the museum is very nice and interesting too. http://www.ptt- (website hidden)!
Louisiana it's out of town, but it's a fantastic museum for modern Art.
The Carslberg Glyptotecket it’s also a very nice space for rainy days.
Christiania is also within (ling) walk distance, but all the way there is a nice walk. ! Black Diamond, one of my favorite buildings it’s the new library connected to old one.! Tivoli park it’s a magic place for all ages, it’s one of the oldest entertainment park of the world, deserves a visit. !
Market and easy eating: Israel plads (website hidden)

Getting around

You can simply walk or bike anywhere! All major sights are within 10' by bike. Cph is the best city to bike.

Other Things to Note

When you walk out of the main gate, take your right, until you reach a cross with a fountain on it, you keep walking in the same direction on the main walking street for 100mts until there is a road with cars and a traffic light. on you left 20mts there is a NETTO supermarket open everyday from 8am to 24hrs.
Mini-market: just when you go out of the flat, turn right, and first left, immediately on your right down in the basement they have all basic needs.

Washing machine:
There is soap and softener behind the trash can. I’m not sophisticated with this, so I always set the machine on “D” and it washes very good!!

Stove: Is digital quite sensible, so you first turn it on the main switch and then each individual heater by pressing - or + to control the heat. Sometimes it makes a “biiiip” that means you left something on top of it, and it won’t stop until you remove it.

Oven: You will find out the signs when you move them: one is the temperature, one is the timer, and one is to set the type of heat. If you move all of them, you will be able to cook quite good ;)!
Please make sure when you finish to use it, turn it complete off. Please keep the over clean!

Unless you understand Danish, there is no point to have a TV! So I watch everything on-line. On the computer you can see cartoons or videos in Youtube. The Navigator might not work on all websites as it is retro, but can do all basic stuff. There is a USB key with some movies and music for you to enjoy.
If the computer get stock, you keep pressing the on/off button in the back until re-starts ! !

Wood Oven:
I recommend you to heat the flat with wood oven, there are some starters or you can use old paper. The good thing is that it really heats well the flat, and last long by night. So first you start the fire with the thin wood, the starter or/and paper. For this you need to keep the door slightly open in the beginning, once there is good fire, you close it completely and you just open or close the two round covers on the same door, this allows more air to come in = quick burning, with less air less wood = longer heat. GO green keep it close!
If you still decide to turn on the electric heaters, please remember to turn them off when you go out for long periods or when checking out.

Check In
  • Elio was very responsive from the very beginning and the communication was smooth. The information about how to get there was clear and precise. The apartment is located at the heart of the city but not noisy at all. Lot of places were to eat and a supermarket close by if you wish to cook yourself. The place is cosy and comfortable (but you have to be prepared to climb stairs with your luggage).

  • It's nearly impossible to say enough good things about this apartment. It's is truly the center of the city. We spent a week with a family bike and was never more than a quick ride from everything. My wife was especially appreciative of the nice kitchen and the way the place was so clean and ready for us. My daughter loved sharing the children's toys. I loved the quiet sleep with windows open and the great vibe on the walking street in front.

  • Fantastic location and very close to everything. It is in the heart of a busy street but very quiet. The apartment had everything we needed. It is small but suitable for 2 couples (good friends). Stairs are steep but that is normal in Europe.
    We would stay here again.

  • Our stay in Copenhagen was wonderful, especially because of the perfectly situated and beautiful Elio's place. The situation is just perfect, near from all the best spots of Copenhague, not far from metro and central station, in a very busy street.
The flat is beautiful and very calm because inside of a court. We found all the comfort we need.
The cherry on the cake was Elio, very communicative, flexible and always present to answer our questions. All the informations he gave us were very useful and clear.

  • Charming, clean and comfortable apartment in what is likely the best location of Copenhagen! This place is literally steps away from the nicest shops, restaurants and wonderful cafes. The host provides two bicycles for a small maintenance fee that will take you anywhere else you'd like to go. It is also conveniently located to two main Metro lines and the Central Station. The kitchen is a full functioning kitchen so you can prepare meals in when you like. The bathroom is a little small but the all around flow of the space is more than comfortable. The charming wood burning stove takes the chill out after a long day of exploring the wonderful city! The host was charming and very timely with all communications. It was super easy to check in and out. I highly recommend this place for anyone coming to explore all the charms that Copenhagen has to offer!

  • Elio's flat is cute and clean, with one double bedroom and two comfortable sofabeds in the living room. It is right in the middle of the old part of the city, and has lots of lively cafes and restaurants around. Despite this, because it is set behind a row of houses, it is nice and quiet. I would thoroughly recommend this if you are a small group and if you don't have any mobility issues, as you have to go up two flights of narrow stairs. Elio made himself available via email and (website hidden) if we needed it, but we didn't have any issues. A great host, thank you!
