WE PREFER NON-SMOKERS!
Bernal Heights is a cozy neighborhood, with plenty of amenities, cafe's bars, grocery, library, church, 3 parks, 2 of which are hill top and have amazing views! It's one of those villages in SF that you hear about, it has everything you need, and is very quaint and inviting. My house is a 10 min walk from Cortland Ave which is the main drag, 3 bus stops are also within 10 min. walking. Bus line 24 is on Cortland Ave, Busline 67 goes through the neighborhood and bus 9 is a 5 min walk from the house on Bayshore Blvd. There is plenty of street parking too, in case you have a car, it's never a problem to park out front.

Interaction with Guests
I live up stairs, I won't bug you, but you are welcome to come up anytime, I can help advise you on the best way to see the city, and what to do, and what NOT to do!
There is plenty of parking if you drive. Downtown is a 10-15 min drive.
Bus 9 is the closest bus stop, and that can have you downtown in 30 min.
Bus 24 runs up Cortland Ave, you can get anywhere in the city from this bus line.
I personally love to walk around Bernal Heights, but... (be warned) it is very hilly and there are tons of stair cases, but the views and experience is so worth it!
Please turn off outside light during the day and turn off lights and the heater when you leave.
Be respectful of our home by not being too noisy after 11 PM

It was a great venue, in the nicest area, close to the Mission and Castro districts, and lovely Bernal Heights. (Just train for hill-climbing before you go to San Francisco!) My son and I walked everywhere so rarely used transit but it's very accessible and close-by. The studio apartment was perfect for us, and roomy enough, although it is somewhat dark. But we were rarely there anyway. Emily provided whatever we needed when we asked.
I had a great experience staying in Emily's property. It's a large, independent studio on the first floor and would be plenty spacious for 3, maybe more. It was almost rustic while still very comfortable and clean. Got a little chilly at night but there were plenty of extra blankets so not a problem. Emily was available as needed but didn't interrupt my stay at all.
Good value place to stay in San Francisco. Right by the freeway so easy to get to but not too noisy. Hills around bernal heights make for a good work out :)
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Emily was very friendly and helpful during my stay. Check in was simple and seamless and all amenities were there. The place was clean and neat and parking was plentiful. It was nice and quiet and close to parks and a great neighborhood to walk around with all the quirky streets and houses.
