You will be in a great central location only short stroll (approx 300mt) to the patrolled section of beautiful 4 mile beach and only a short walking distance to the Marina where the boats depart for the inner & outer reefs daily. Basically you are in the middle of everything!!
A beautiful lush tropical setting surrounds this lovely 1 bedroom apartment. This privately managed apartment is located on the first floor, only one flight of stairs will bring you to your own private balcony with a view over looking the lagoon pool, sit here and relax after your days activities and take in the sunset with a cool drink. This lovely well equipped apartment has a separate bedroom and open plan kitchen/lounge and is fitted out with quality furnishings to make your stay a memorable and comfortable one.

We have a local and very helpful caretaker who lives only a few minutes drive away so we have someone to readily assist you in case you require assistance during your stay.
Interaction with Guests
We offer you complete privacy, we email your access code just before arrival so there is no picking up keys, or checking in, very easy for you, we are available via phone or email if you need assistance, we also have a local caretaker who lives close by.
No need for a car as you are within a short walking distance of the Beach, Marina & Town
Terms and Conditions:
Rates are based on twin share (2 adult guests), the owners have the right to ask any undeclared guests to vacate or to charge additional fees including extra cleaning costs. Sorry we do not cater for infants or children.

*No towels etc to be hung over balcony ( clothes airer supplied) Resort rule
*All rubbish to be removed on departure
Arrival 2pm or later and departure strictly by 10am (unless otherwise agreed upon in writing with owner)
Note: Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.
We recommend that the guest takes out comprehensive holiday cancellation and protection insurance with a reputable insurance company to cater for any unforeseen circumstances which may arise including accident, ill health, natural disasters or any other matters beyond the guests reasonable control.
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.
Any damage, loss or expense incurred by the owner as a result of your breach of these Terms & Conditions set out below will be incur charges. Examples of this include but are not limited to any damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared
Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance or may result in termination of rental.
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in additional payments or may result in termination of rental.
Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival, any excessive cleaning will incur charges.
Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental.
Pets are not allowed
Smoking is not permitted on premises
Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.
Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.
Linda and Barry's apartment was everything we expected from their information. It was well equipped and comfortable. Despite being in close proximity with others in the resort we were able to dine on our deck in total privacy. After busy days of 'relaxing' holiday it was a pleasure to return to our temporary home.
Barry and Linda were excellent hosts and the apartment itself was fantastic. They responded to my questions very quickly and informatively. They were friendly and polite at all times and are very trustworthy. The apartment is right in the centre of Port Douglas and is walking distance from everything you would want - we loved being so close to everything but also having the relaxing serenity of the pools and the apartment. Highly recommended.
Zen @ Hibiscus was perfect for our 5 night stay. The room was comfortable, clean, beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. The resort is in a great location with beautiful lush surroundings. We will definitely be back!
Linda and Barry's apartment is beautiful, clean and spacious. It has everything you might need to comfortably enjoy your holiday and make your own meals. The location is excellent, easy access to four mile beach, shops and the marina.
Communication from booking, check-in to check-out was always quick and easy and Linda gave us excellent tips about the area and the drive from the airport to Port Douglas.
This is our second stay at this apartment and it was as good as the first time. This is a well equipped, comfortable and clean apartment in a lovely resort only a couple of minutes from the centre of port douglas. Linda and Barry are fantastic hosts-very quick to reply and flexible with any special requests if possible. We would highly recommend this apartment for any couple wanting a lovely break in tropical North Queensland.
We had an amazing 5 night stay at Zen@Hibiscus over Christmas break. The apartment is perfect for discovering Port Douglas, Daintree, Cape Tribulation etc. It was really spacious, great cooking facilities, really good air con, lovely balcony, everything was awesome! The resort itself is in a great location and has two lovely pools for chilling out. Linda and Barry gave us great local tips for around the area and we would definitely recommend their place as a base for a trip to the Port Douglas area.
Linda & Barry's apt was lovely and had everything that we needed. Aircon & fans were a real plus as was so hot & humid. Enclosed car park was also a bonus as the car remained cool! We had a great time in the region and went out and about almost every day and enjoyed everything that we did - Cape Tribulation and the Daintree was brilliant and so was the sky rail and Kuranda train ride. We also loved Mosman Gorge. The apt being in Port Douglas was ideally located to all the trips and easy walking to both The Port and the Beach! We even went to the Cane Toad Racing evening, which was great fun as Sandy was picked to participate! Although we didn't meet Linda & Barry, our communication with them was excellent and received some great tips on what to do and where to go etc. (They even recommended the car hire place, that we used & booked, prior to arrival) Only negative and this is very small, is that the communal pool area does appear a bit tired (we still used it and enjoyed doing so) and could do with a face lift but this is down to the owners of the site and not L&B! Lovely time was had :-)
