$$$ NAME YOUR OWN PRICE $$$
When the nightly rate is set to $10/night, that is not the actual price, but what it means is that there's flexibility for those dates and you can name your own price. If we can figure something out that works for everyone then I'd more than happy to host you.
Please be sure to click on the "calendar" tab above the photos to see if the nights you're interested in are priced at $10/night.
So again, $10 = name your own price. This does not apply to any other nights on the calendar so please be sure to look at your dates specifically.

Great stay in Hope's apartment. There were 6 of us - a little squished but tons of fun. Hope was a great host and we'd definitely stay here again! Apartment was clean and comfortable. Neighborhood is great - late night food options are close by, the subway is half a block away. Thanks for a great time!
Fantastic space, comfortably slept 6 of us between beds/pull-outs/couch. Clean, bright, and cosy throughout, perfect for relaxing with a freshly brewed cup of tea after a long day. Hope was super responsive and accommodating as well, a great experience!
We really enjoyed our visit in the apartment. It is super easy to get to manhattan since the subway is on the corner. Stores and restaurants just outside. We were 7 adults. It was crowded but it worked. We would come back again so I can recommend it.
Our family loved our stay at Hope's apartment. Hope was always available to answer my questions and recommended great places in the neighborhood. The apartment was nice and clean. The best part about this apartment is the location. It is just minutes away from the subway station, so it's very easy to get into Manhattan. I can fully recommend staying at this place.
My son, husband and I recently stayed in this apartment for a week located at 586 Union in Brooklyn. We really felt that it was a perfect accommodation for us during our visit to Brooklyn, and we feel that the convenience and comfortableness of the apartment added considerably to our very happy vacation time.
It was very nice to have access to extra sheets and/or towels when we needed them without having to ask for them. Since the weather was much chillier than we had anticipated, we appreciated the warmth of the apartment after a cool and windy day in the city. The room arrangement was just ideal for the 3 or us, and we greatly enjoyed the comfortable overstuffed chair and the couch, and especially the thoughtfulness of the lap blanket in the living room.
We made great use of the dining table, appreciated having dishwashing soap and materials available, and the hair dryer was a nice addition. We felt that the rooms were attractively decorated, and we loved the "homey" feeling of the apartment, as well as its close proximity to the subway station and several very enjoyable "eateries."
All in all, we had a wonderful time and were happy to have the opportunity to enjoy the city with a "home to come home to."
I stayed one night at Hope's apartment and it was a very pleasing experience. First of all, Hope gave very clear indications and I had no problems reaching her or getting into her place. The flat was very very clean, comfortable and and very well heated (this was especially important since it was extremely cold in New York at that time).
Again, I cannot stress enough how clean and cosy the whole place felt. Hope was a great host, even taking the time to check personally on me after I arrived. She therefore clearly deserves 5 stars.
We really liked the neighborhood-full of great Brooklyn attractions. We liked the restaurants and easy access to the subway. Hope was gracious, kind and very honest.
The flat was clean and the beds were comfortable. Hope left us with a nicely stocked refrigerator, which we appreciated. The building is an older one, with high ceilings and a railroad flat layout. I think it would be a squeeze for 7 large people to stay there-maybe a family with small children? We were comfortable as a group of 4. The kitchen set up is simple but adequate and the furnishings are pleasant. All in all we had a good time!
