Come stay in a bright bedroom with a queen-size bed, built-in closet, and a nightstand. It's on the upper level of our townhouse-style condo.
The attached bathroom has a shower and skylight (for observing the gray Portland skies or rare but delicious sunshine). Downstairs you'll find a spacious kitchen, and you're welcome to cook up some breakfast there. You can also store your picnic ingredients in our fridge until you need them.
Walk out the door and you're about half way between Alberta Street (think coffee shops, bars, boutiques, and the notorious Last Thursday extravaganzas) and the Dekum neighborhood (more coffee, and a brewery).
The bus to Downtown leaves about two block from our doorstep, and you can also walk to the yellow line MAX. There's an easy bike route to downtown, too.
There's a cute grocery coop on Alberta (about 10-15 minutes walking), and a supermarket about three blocks away in case you need any essentials. During the summer, there is a farmer's market nearby every Sunday morning.
If it works with our schedule and fits into your plans, we're happy to give you a ride or help you decide how to explore and enjoy the city.
***In case you or someone you know may be looking for a place in Portland this winter, we'd love to have someone stay with us from late November until January. The dates are somewhat flexible, and we'd be open to working out a lower rate for the longer stay.***
Andrea was kind and warm and welcoming. The room was clean and bright in a lovely home. We easily walked to the Alberta Arts District. I would definitely stay here again.
My stay at Andreas home was perfect! The room is exactly as you see and very clean. I had a bike with me which they kindly let me keep in the house. I was offered the use of the kitchen but I didn't have the need as my stay was so brief. The neighbourhood offers great restaurants and shops and has easy access to downtown, the highway etc. I wouldn't hesitate to stay with Andrea again!
This was a wonderful place to stay if you would like to explore the Alberta Arts district and NE Portland. The room is very clean and modern with your own bathroom.
My husband and I were in town to visit our son, who lives nearby.
Andrea offers her kitchen for making morning tea/coffee and breakfast. The rest of the time, you need to be independent with all the delicious restaurants, and food carts in the area.
Large and lovely room with private bathroom. Very kind and accommodating hosts that were able to take me in at the last minute. They do prefer that you only use their kitchen in the morning, but were kind enough to let me use it to cook dinners as well.
Very nice place. Clean and spacious room with a private bathroom. We enjoyed our stay.
Just as advertised. Clean and private. Hosts were not overbearing in the slightest but were willing to answer questions and give recommendations. Good location--easy walk to Alberta.
The reservation was canceled 4 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The room and the bathroom are very clean and big. We didn't see Andrea a lot because we were tired or outside but she seems very friendly. The flat is walking distance to alberta where there is some good places to eat. With bus, it's 30 minutes to Downton. A good place to visit portland !
We were in Portland for an event at the convention center, and Andrea's home was a great location for us - a calm, quiet oasis within easy driving distance of the center and easy walking distance of Alberta Street and its great restaurants. Andrea was very friendly and gave us some delicious dining recommendations! The suite itself is very roomy, bright and clean, and the neighborhood has lots of off-street parking.
This is a great airbnb host and location. The room is exactly as pictured and is very modern and impeccably clean. Large, bright, and private. Just what I needed.
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
