Such a wonderful place to stay. Close to everything you could need. The room is big and bright, and the bed is comfy. I really can't think of anything negative to say. Glen and Virginia are wonderful hosts, I don't think you could find a nicer place in providence!
Glenn was so lovely, I had to check in very late at night and he was more than accommodating. The house is gorgeous and I'm especially impressed with their art collection. The suite is private and beautiful, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
This spot was a great place to stay, I stayed here for 3 months to work on a research project at Brown University. Glenn and Virginia were kind, welcoming and professional beyond levels I expected. They were always willing and available to answer questions or offer support on any matter. Greta the dog and Mr. Big the cat were also impeccably behaved. The room was really nice along with the conjoining study area with desk and lamp and nice large bathroom where I took an excessive amount of baths. The room is in fact more like mini studio, and Glenn provided me with a high quality bike which was perfect for getting around Providence, a really nice city. There are lots of nice places to eat nearby on Broadway and a convenient laundromat. All in all a brilliant spot, good facilities combined with lovely people who are happy for you to interact with them as much or as little you desire.
Personable hosts offering a pristine private suite in a beautifully restored historic home. Don't hesitate to book!
I had a wonderful stay with Glenn and Victoria. They are both very friendly and welcoming, and the suite is a pristine, spacious and relaxing place to come home to after traveling around Rhode Island.
Very comfortable and private space -- and I do mean space, a room and a half. It was great to have a work table and place to sit. Room and bath well equipped, neat and clean. Glenn provided room in the refrigerator and cabinets for my groceries, and it was a boon to be able to sit in the lovely garden to have dinner and read after a long day at the conference. Transport to the convention center was easy with 3 or 4 direct bus lines stopping at nearby corners.
Glenn and his wife, Virginia, were friendly and welcoming, but respectful of privacy, which allowed me a great deal of independence.
