  • Nice little spot, plenty private, easy drive to Waimea, Hanapepe, and the canyon, but nothing fancy.

  • Great little apartment! Clean, comfortable and right across from the beach. Jeana was a great host and was super responsive when we had any questions about where to go, what to do, etc. I felt like a local at this place :-)

  • Nice and clean but basic place to stay in a great location for a reasonable price. The two of us are outdoor people and do not have need for expensive and luxurious condos. We spent only a limited time in the studio. It is very close to the Kekaha beautiful beaches and Weimea canyon. It was very quiet (unlike many tourist centers) - one gets a great sleep! We only met Martin and his dog Bear during our stay. Martin is a very nice and helpful fellow and it was fun talking to him. He also gave us some good advice regarding the island activities. We were very happy overall. We plan to come again in the near future..

  • We loved the little studio, it was clean and Laura was very friendly, helpful and a great host. We used this place as homebase during our honeymoon, and it is conveniently located by catamaran and snorkeling tours, yet still private, and not as touristy.

  • Nice place to stay. Really quiet. Away from the busy part of the island. We enjoyed visiting with Laura and Marty and their new puppy Bear. I'd suggest if you stay here, rent a car. We put 400 miles on our rental in just 5 days. Way more then we planned, but we saw the whole island. There were four of us staying in the apt. we were comfortable but I wouldn't try to squeeze in 5. Overall, a great experience. Can't wait to get back to Kauai.

  • Located in the little town of Kekaha not far at all from the Waimea Canyon, this studio is really cosy and perfect if you want privacy and calm. Clean, confortable, free-wifi, it really suited to our expectations. We met Laura once, she is very nice and care about your confort. Would definitely book again !

  • Easy place to get to, nice space, a little warm, but the fans handled that. Good access to Waimea Canyon, nice little town of Waimea. The location is on the dryer, warmer side of the island. Traffic is a bit congested around Lihue, so travel from Waimea to the east and north shores takes a little longer, but you get a good sense of the whole island. The apartment is well appointed; nice bed, nice shower, nice spread-out space. Internet access was easy and reliable.

  • Had a great time exploring Kekaha and Waimea. Waimea canyon is really a little version of the Grand Canyon of Arizona...very beautiful, dramatic and versatile in character and colors. Took many pics.
Loved seeing the chickens running around. Mother hen w/doz of chicks walking in rhythm.....roosters doing their macho walk.
This was mango and lychee season!! Clusters and clusters abound with all it's glory, branches drooped so low begging for relief. Backroads of Waimea, beautiful flowers, fresh river waters w/talapia and mullet flowing into the salt water ocean...this is what I saw and what my 87 yrs old mother remembered and saw again. The studio apartment was perfect for us, the decor was tasteful, we felt safe and relish the pretty greenery outside. They also had a tangerine-lemon type tree that sort of looked like miniture yellow papayas..which we juiced and it was Delicious!! We had a great Time..Thanks again to Laura Baudouin for letting us rent her place.
