Forrest and Christy were great hosts! I stayed with them for a month and they were super helpful, welcoming and easy going. The space was bright and spacious, their house is clean and tidy and their cats are such fun! Their cats are not cats, they are dogs reincarnated as cats. They will talk and play with you and are very attentive to what you are doing. Hard to ignore them, they're darling!
They were really great hosts. It's always good to meet a fellow beer lover. Forrest had some home brew ready when I arrived, and it was awesome. Such a nice couple and such good accommodation s.
We had a fantastic 3 day stay at Forrest and Kristy's beautiful home, located in a quiet cul de sac in Santa Rosa. Forrest and Kristy were warm and welcoming, as were their cats Sammy and Stella. Forrest was also very helpful in offering suggestions for our itinerary before we arrived, and we appreciated the flexible check in/out arrangements.
Their guest bedroom was large, with lots of natural light and cupboard space, and a very comfortable bed. You're welcome to use their kitchen, but we didn't because we spent most of our time out exploring — Santa Rosa is well situated to explore the rest of Sonoma County, and there are lots of dining options a short drive away.
This was our first AirBnB experience, and we'd definitely stay with them again if we returned to Sonoma County.
Forrest & Christy are great. They are super friendly, extremely accommodating, and very easy going. The place is super clean, you would never know they have two cats. Speaking of cats Stella and Sammy are total hams, they're hard not to like. You should also know the bed is amazing, I actually extended my stay because I didn't want to leave the bed.. just kidding...not really, well kind of. In addition to the hilarious cats, awesome bed, super clean bathroom just the location of the house itself is great. It's in a very quiet neighborhood but very close to Montgomery Village, Whole Foods, Annadel, Spring Creek, and not far from downtown. I hope to stay here again next time I;m in town.
About the Host, Forrest & Christy
Christy and I love to travel! We have been to over 30 countries and are constantly looking at where to go next. When we travel, we're middle of the road travelers; not staying in fancy places, but not staying in dives. We're both teachers, high school social studies and elementary school math.
