Thanks for your review, Olivia. I appreciate your kind words about our service and help. On the other hand, I am quite surprised about the issues you are raising. When I checked in during your stay, your answer was that " everything is going pretty well". with the only minor issue of the fridge shelves, for which I apologised, and which is something we addressed during your stay. I wish you had raised the other issues with me at that time. Our standards are high and we always do our very best to make sure the apartment is kept in good condition, something most guests appreciate and recognise in their reviews as well. We do inspect the apartment regularly, and what has bothered you is minor at best, and well reflected in the fact that the apartment is priced extremely competitively - you paid less than USD 1,000 for a 14 night stay. Apartments or hotel rooms in absolutely perfect condition - and most recently refurbished - will certainly command a higher price - I would therefore strongly encourage you to better assess the value for money of the places you consider staying at before booking, and to draw an appropriate comparison between them. Now, again, I do wish you had raised these issues during your stay instead of just venting those frustrations in this review. I do not think, by the way, that your review is actually accurate, as the apartment very much still looks like on the photos. However, better communication from your side would certainly have allowed me to make up for the minor issues you may have experienced during your stay, and to offer you a few bottles of local wine or some other specialties to make up for the inconvenience this may have caused you! In conclusion, please watch out, in the future, for the value for money various apartments offer, also compared to hotel rooms, and make sure you keep your hosts in the loop about any issues you may encounter during your stay, whilst it's still time to address them.
