Very nice and comfortable appartment with a great view on Venice.
Communication with Davide was easy and efficent. We had a really great time in Venice and we highly recommand this flat.
Like everyone else says about this apartment, it's a dreamy, great place to stay. I almost hate to write a review, because it's more like a secret to keep than something to tell the world about. The salty smell of the old building, the wide marble staircase, the big wooden doors, the rose marble bathroom -- it all makes you feel like the heir to some fortune passing your days in your Venice hide-away. The view out the sitting room window over the rooftops to San Marco cathedral and the campanile is grand. We stayed in February, but were lucky enough to have one sunny day warm enough to sit on the roof deck for lunch. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there is a Coop supermarket five minutes, one Baroque church and one canal away. We were sad to leave.
The apartment has wimax-type internet, which is subject to slowdowns around 8-9 pm when every tourist in Venice comes home to log on and compete for base station bandwidth, but overall the internet connection was great, and I made heavy use of it due to work obligations.
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment, despite the winter tides. It's well situated and is ultra comfortable. Greta who met us at the ferry wharf was extremely helpful and friendly. She guided us to the apartment and was full of interesting suggestions. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone. We did not meet David, however he was a gracious and considerate host.
I truly magical stay here. The apartment was absolutely beautiful. Light and spacious, fantastic views , very well equipped for self catering .
Location is amazing, very convenient for arrival by boat and moments from the main tourist attractions . Yet quiet and has a private terrace . Lives up to its "Spectacular views "
Lots of great bars nearby.
Davide was a brilliant host, very quick to respond to all enquiries and very helpful .
I would definitely return !
This apartment is a cosy, charming and very comfortable basis for a wonderful time in Venice. The apartment is spacious, clean and maintained to a high standard. The views from the living room and the rooftop are indeed spectacular and the location can hardly be more central. It was certainly one of the best places we have stayed.
Getting to the 5th floor without a lift may be a bit of a challenge for some but the stairs are wide, straight and not steep.
Davide is a wonderful host; he is very kind, easy to communicate with and he answered my queries promptly.
I cannot but recommend Davide and his beautiful apartment.
Davide's apartment is as good as one can imagine! It's not only clean and cosy and freshly renovated. It's a designer flat of highest quality! Not to mention the view over the centre of Venice and a wonderful altana on the roof! Most highly recommended! We enjoyed every minute of beeing there!
Davide is a great host and his flat was just amazingly charming, clean, well equiped and well located. I recommand both to anyone!
Very nice and big flat in the heart of venice. Very quiet & cosy and with a spectacular view from the terrace! We'll be back in two years for the next Biënnale.
