Location

Oceanside, California, United States

Oceanside is known for the fabulous Oceanside Pier which is about a mile north along the Coast Highway. You can relax and enjoy meals at the iconic '50s Ruby’s Diner at the very end of the pier where you have stunning views up and down the coast.

There are several great restaurants close by - such as the famous Beach Break (a 10 minute walk) which offers amazing breakfasts - a must to visit! Several new restaurants have recently opened within about a 20 min walk away such as "Urge Gastropub and Whisky Bank" - our new favorite!, and the "Pour House" which offers world class dining, liquor, and entertainment in the heart of South Oceanside.

Explore downtown Oceanside with its many restaurants, stores and movie theaters, not to mention Little Louie’s Gift Store on 312 Mission Avenue with its famous pirate statue - a must-see for all visitors.

Oceanside Beach has many fire pits to enjoy as you watch the gorgeous sunsets. There are also the Thursday Farmer’s Market during the day followed by the evening Sunset Market where you can stroll among the many interesting vendor stores and buy delicious local fare while listening to the sounds of local bands.

The Oceanside Harbor is very quaint with its historic lighthouse and many restaurants lining the water’s edge. Sea- lions love to bask in the sun on the harbor docks while watching the fishing boats going out to sea. This certainly is a great days outing.

So we are actually closer to Carlsbad which is about half a mile south on the Coast Highway 101 and apart from great beaches boasts many adorable stores and a variety of restaurants lining this beach area.

The world famous Legoland is about 10 minutes by car. Also near Legoland is the world re-known Carlsbad Flower fields where you can stroll among rows and rows of beautiful flowers.

The coastal drive is beautiful and of course the amazing sunsets!

Miles of beaches and sunsets what more can be said.
