Interaction with Guests
I’m Italian and I’m doing a political science post-graduate course. I speak Portuguese, Spanish, French and a little English. Bernardo is Brazilian, he is an engineer and he is doing a master degree in sanitation. He speaks Portuguese and a little Italian and Spanish. He also understands a little English. We like travelling and meeting new people from other regions and countries.
We live in the apartment and we like hosting and knowing new people from all over the world. We are not always at home but it will be a pleasure to give you tips about the city and interesting things to do and we will be available for a good talk or to have a beer together.
Our apartment is located in the neighborhood of Santa Tereza and it is near downtown. Santa Tereza is a very traditional neighborhood and it is renowned for its bars and restaurants and because the “Clube da Esquina”(a famous brazilian band) used to play in a corner of our street.
The apartment is in a small quiet street, next to some bus stops and to the Santa Tereza subway station. The access to downtown is easy by bus and by the subway. The walking distance from downtown is more or less 25 minutes.
You will have direct bus to Savassi region, the Central Market (Mercado Central) and Minascentro. The subway will take you quickly to Expominas and to the Bus Station (where you can take buses to the airport, Inhotim and many other towns).
You can smoke, but only on the terrace.
If you use the kitchen, please, keep it as clean as you have found it.
Apreciei bastante minha estadia.
We had amazing stay in apartment of Francesca & Bernardo. Nice place, clean room, alot of air and amazing intelligent hosts.
like a bonus - wonderful window view and witty conversation with a cup of coffee.
Conversamos pouco com a Francesca e o Bernardo, pois passamos a maior parte do tempo fora de casa.
Eles foram bastante solícitos quando precisamos, informando sobre atrações turísticas e restaurantes.
O apartamento é extremamente limpo e bem organizado. A localização é boa e há garagem disponível.
Francesca & Bernardo were amazing host. Super kind, caring and welcoming. They helped me out when I needed directions and treated me like home.
The neighborhood is super calm. The appartment is really close to metro and bus station which was really convenient.
The appartment was hiper clean and organized. Had my own bedroom (really comfy) and private bathroom. Full of light all day and with an awesome terrace to grab a smoke or look at the city.
I honestly super recommend this appartment.
Francesca and Bernardo were lovely. I arrived during a very busy time for both of them, but they were still kind enough to chat with me, and when I asked Francesca about the closest bus, she wrote down for me a very detailed explanation of how to get to the bus, where to get off, and the bus' schedule! They also generously shared their delicious breakfast with me the morning that I left. Their place is exactly as in the pictures: clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. They let me
practice my basic Portuguese with them, for which I was very grateful. Recommended! :)
