The space

Hi everyone,

I am renting a warm, cosy holiday cottage in the stunning Clifden countryside: close to mountains, sea and lakes. Particularly suited to people who like to walk, to read, paint and relax. The cottage is ideal for families and friends alike.

Clifden is a welcoming town, which has a superb selection of traditional pubs (traditional music daily), excellent sea food restaurants and a large variety of interesting shops. It hosts a number of festivals, is surrounded by many beaches and it's a perfect base to explore the Connemara region (daily boats to Inishbofin island).

Connemara is a haven for mountain walkers, pony trekkers, golfers, scuba divers, rock climbers, canoeists and sailors.

Property Overview:
2 Bedrooms (2 double : sleeps 4), 2 Bathrooms.

The house sleeps four people in two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room and there is a separate bathroom next to the downstairs bedroom.

There is also an open plan living area with a fire place, a sofa and a new kitchen fully equipped. Outside, there is off road parking. The site has a children's playground and tennis courts (rackets provided) for guests' use. Supermarkets are within 10 minutes walk of the property.

A very nice accomodation. We enjoyed the books and the pretty up stairs bedroom . Very bright in the mornings with the sky light and nice to have them open for some air. The cottage feels like you are borrowing a good friends place for a few days, which we liked..a lived in feeling, as oppose to a bland self catering spot. Clifden town has lots to do..and the sky drive at sunset was spectacular. View spots with a picnic table or two along the route. No wifi..but easy to find in Cliftden so no big deal on that... A great value!

The place is as per the pics. It is adequately stocked for things required for ur stay. The only problem is that it is part of a group of cottages with paper thin walls and parking rt in front . other than that the cottage is nice and Can be recommended

Great cottage. I had booked the cottage mainly as a place to sleep, but I could happily have spent most of the weekend relaxing there if I didn't have other activities planned in the connemara countryside. Host was also fantastic and very accommodating.

Nice and cosy house with nothing missing for 2 couples with bathroom for each room (except of wifi.....). It is a good location for exploring the beauties of Connemara by car and then by walking. This comfortable place is very quiet and just outside of the town of Clifden. We suggest to go by car to Clifden (and visiting some pubs with live music!), but potentially hazardous by walk in the dark.

This is a comfortable place just outside of town. We had a car so we were lucky to be able to get to the coast and town area. There is no Internet or TV. The washer and dryer were actually a service that you paid up at the front reception area for $15. It also took a day to receive your clothes back. They had limited drop off times.
