About this listing
Get away to Old Seminole Heights in comfort. I've got a lovely historic home with your name on it.
The home was build in 1926 and has original hardwood floors throughout. Both beds are queens; one a memory foam mattress. The kitchen is fully equipped (gas stove, dishwasher, fridge, spices, grocery basics). I also have a washer and dryer in the garage.
Guests will have access to a fully stocked and equipped kitchen. I live in the house when it's not rented out so everything you'd need is in the house. You'll still need to stop by the grocery store to pick up specific things.
Interaction with Guests
I won't be staying at the house while you're there; I just moved temporarily to Shreveport, LA. My friend Liz takes care of greeting all of my guests when she can, if she can't, she'll make sure you have access to the house upon arrival.
I'm always available to answer any questions you might have or give you some guidance on how to best explore the neighborhood.
I leave a guide of my neighborhood and some menus from my favorite local places.
You'll be in walking distance of several award winning restaurants, bars, parks, and local shops. Check out the maps section of this page; I've tagged all my favorite places.
The bus stop that takes you downtown is less than a block away - although Tampa isn't public transportation friendly.
This is a very central Tampa location, really in the middle of everything so you'll never have a long ride to get to where you're going. Busch Gardens and a few shopping malls are about 10 minutes away.
Other Things to Note
I do not have a cleaning fee so please take extra care to leave the place in decent condition.
I don't often accept one day stays but may be able to accommodate so feel free to ask.
Sorry, but no animals allowed or smoking in the house. Smoking outside is perfectly fine with me.
Please do not do any drugs inside or outside of the house (including pot).
While I try to accommodate all check in and out times I can, the listing is extremely popular and conflicts can easily arise. In these cases, I ask that everyone sticks to standard check in and out times (11AM and 3PM respectively). If I can accommodate a special request, I will always try.
I do not own a TV but wireless internet is available for free if you'd like to watch something on your device.
Please do not move the furniture without informing me first.
We stayed in Danielle's house 4 nights 5 days. 2 adults and two kids (5 and 7 years) The house was spacious, quiet, lovely decorated and very clean. Great place to stay.
We need car to stay in the house. There is a Wallmart supermarket close to house and some place to eat. A good wifi conection.
Liz and Danielle are really nice host. We met with Liz and she made our stay very enjoyable and comfortable. She gave us great recommendations about the area and places to visit. Thanks so much.
We enjoyed our stay at Danielle's house in Tampa. It was very accessible, clean, and comfortable. Danielle was great to communicate with and very accommodating. Getting into the house was a breeze! It's the perfect place to stay if you need a night's stay before taking a cruise from Tampa! Thank you, Danielle.
Everything went great. Easy to communicate with and place is superclean. Highly recommended.
Danielle made sure we were very welcome and well taken care of. This was my first experience with Airbnb, and Danielle made sure it was a great beginning. The house had everything we needed. While the parking at the house was great, the neighborhood is older and the streets are tiny. But, it was a very convenient location.
We had a good experience at Danielle's home. We were comfortable and had a good time in Floriday, despite the rain.
We requested a one night stay, in the middle of the week and it was very nice of Danielle to accommodate that request. She was helpful in letting us know that she would be out of town, and that Liz would be our point of contact. Liz was awesome...very friendly, prompt and informative. She was able to allow us to check in early...there were guests in the house prior to our arrival which meant she'd have to clean it right away...this was very much appreciated. Check in was a breeze, and the house was as described and exactly what we expected...The Wes Anderson Collection coffee table book made us feel right at home. The bedroom was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom and updated kitchen were clean. The neighborhood was quiet...we didn't eat nearby, but as we drove around, we spotted many interesting looking restaurants...there seemed to be plenty of choices. We will definitely consider this place next time we visit Tampa.
