About This Listing
Get away to Old Seminole Heights in comfort. I've got a lovely historic home with your name on it.
The home was build in 1926 and has original hardwood floors throughout. Both beds are queens; one a memory foam mattress. The kitchen is fully equipped (gas stove, dishwasher, fridge, spices, grocery basics). I also have a washer and dryer in the garage.
Guests will have access to a fully stocked and equipped kitchen. I live in the house when it's not rented out so everything you'd need is in the house. You'll still need to stop by the grocery store to pick up specific things.
Interaction with Guests
I won't be staying at the house while you're there; I just moved temporarily to Shreveport, LA. My friend Liz takes care of greeting all of my guests when she can, if she can't, she'll make sure you have access to the house upon arrival.
I'm always available to answer any questions you might have or give you some guidance on how to best explore the neighborhood.
I leave a guide of my neighborhood and some menus from my favorite local places.
You'll be in walking distance of several award winning restaurants, bars, parks, and local shops. Check out the maps section of this page; I've tagged all my favorite places.
The bus stop that takes you downtown is less than a block away - although Tampa isn't public transportation friendly.
This is a very central Tampa location, really in the middle of everything so you'll never have a long ride to get to where you're going. Busch Gardens and a few shopping malls are about 10 minutes away.
Other Things to Note
I do not have a cleaning fee so please take extra care to leave the place in decent condition.
Sorry, but no animals allowed or smoking in the house. Smoking outside is perfectly fine with me.
Please do not do any drugs inside or outside of the house (including pot).
While I try to accommodate all check in and out times I can, the listing is extremely popular and conflicts can easily arise. In these cases, I ask that everyone sticks to standard check in and out times (11AM and 3PM respectively). If I can accommodate a special request, I will always try.
I do not own a TV but wireless internet is available for free if you'd like to watch something on your device.
Please do not move the furniture without informing me first.
Danielle's place is charming and was perfect for our visit to Bern's Steakhouse, comfy beds and coffee and chocolates made us feel welcome!
Being from this neighborhood I was stoked to stay here, it was very convenient to everything and the street was quiet. The house was just as described and had a lot of little extras since she stays there sometimes. Condiments, coffee, cotton swabs etc. Danielle was super nice and checked in on us a few days into our stay since we're familiar with the neighborhood.
Another great Airbnb experience. Although we never got to meet Danielle or Liz (this was because we had a very busy 3 days in Tampa) they checked in often via text and email to make sure every thing was great.
The home itself was awesome. The homes in this area area so charming. Although we never made any meals in while we were there the kitchen was very well equipped. There should be everything you would need if you were wanting to make meals in. The beds were super comfy(one of them a memory foam mattress). The AC worked great.
The area was very central and easy to get around in. There are a few local restaurant within walking distance. I would highly recommend The Front Porch grill and bar. We had a very good dinner there one night sitting out on the porch. This is what Florida living is all about!!
I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay if your in the Tampa area.
Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The home was clean and welcoming. Everything we needed to make this the ideal weekend was there. Seemless!
The house is beautiful, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. It felt like we arrived at a home that was set up for us. We absolutely will rent this place again.
