Get away to Old Seminole Heights in comfort. I've got a lovely historic home with your name on it.
The home was build in 1926 and has original hardwood floors throughout. Both beds are queens; one a memory foam mattress. The kitchen is fully equipped (gas stove, dishwasher, fridge, spices, grocery basics). I also have a washer and dryer in the garage.
Guests will have access to a fully stocked and equipped kitchen. I live in the house when it's not rented out so everything you'd need is in the house. You'll still need to stop by the grocery store to pick up specific things.
Interaction with Guests
I won't be staying at the house while you're there; I just moved temporarily to Shreveport, LA. My friend Liz takes care of greeting all of my guests when she can, if she can't, she'll make sure you have access to the house upon arrival.
I'm always available to answer any questions you might have or give you some guidance on how to best explore the neighborhood.
I leave a guide of my neighborhood and some menus from my favorite local places.
You'll be in walking distance of several award winning restaurants, bars, parks, and local shops. Check out the maps section of this page; I've tagged all my favorite places.
The bus stop that takes you downtown is less than a block away - although Tampa isn't public transportation friendly.
This is a very central Tampa location, really in the middle of everything so you'll never have a long ride to get to where you're going. Busch Gardens and a few shopping malls are about 10 minutes away.
Other Things to Note
I do not have a cleaning fee so please take extra care to leave the place in decent condition.
Sorry, but no animals allowed or smoking in the house. Smoking outside is perfectly fine with me.
Please do not do any drugs inside or outside of the house (including pot).
While I try to accommodate all check in and out times I can, the listing is extremely popular and conflicts can easily arise. In these cases, I ask that everyone sticks to standard check in and out times (11AM and 3PM respectively). If I can accommodate a special request, I will always try.
I do not own a TV but wireless internet is available for free if you'd like to watch something on your device.
Please do not move the furniture without informing me first.
It was a quaint little home in the coolest neighborhood. The two bedrooms were plenty large enough for our group and the living room, with its Wes Anderson coffee table book, was a big pleaser. The kitchen was wonderful.
The house was easy to find and the driveway was a great convenience. The host left coffee and many other convenient supplies in the kitchen and told us to help ourselves to whatever we wanted.
What a wonderful experience!
Danielle and Liz had great communication and the house was lovely. I wish we could have stayed longer. I liked the books and artwork and the bed was very comfortable. A charming place to stay if you are in Tampa and it's not far from everything downtown. Thanks for hosting us and thanks Liz for your kindness.
Even if we never met Danielle, she has always answered to our emails and requests. We met her friend Liz who promptly came to solve an issue we had with the bathroom, thank you Liz!
The house was perfectly located for our needs and has nearby facilities.
Oldish house would need some maintenance and renewal. Also cleaning was poor.... I think just few details could improve interior look.
Although we only stayed for one night in Danielle's home, we truly felt the home's ambiance in every moment while we were there. It is located in a wonderful part of Seminole Heights, just a mere walking distance to some of the greatest restaurants and bars and only a short driving distance to anything Tampa Bay. Its very spacious and has a unique charm to it. We enjoyed all of the details and the kitchen has all that you need to cook a great meal in. Also, Danielle's friend, Elizabeth, showed great hospitality for us and is there whenever you need her. We definitely recommend her home for you visit!
This was our first time to Tampa and the perfect start to our trip. As soon as we got there we had everything we needed to settle in. The house is in a great location and lovely neighbourhood, would highly recommend.
This was a charming little house in a lovely neighborhood central to everything in the Tampa area. The house was furnished with everything our family of four needed for a 10 day visit to Tampa. The host made it really easy to check in and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.
We enjoyed our stay at Danielle's home. We wish we could have stayed longer. We especially appreciated the kitchen stalked with coffee and some breakfast items. Our kids slept perfectly in the guest room and we were comfortable in the master. The bathroom is small but adequate for the size of the home. Thanks for a great stay!
