About this listing
Get away to Old Seminole Heights in comfort. I've got a lovely historic home with your name on it.
The home was build in 1926 and has original hardwood floors throughout. Both beds are queens; one a memory foam mattress. The kitchen is fully equipped (gas stove, dishwasher, fridge, spices, grocery basics). I also have a washer and dryer in the garage.
Guests will have access to a fully stocked and equipped kitchen. I live in the house when it's not rented out so everything you'd need is in the house. You'll still need to stop by the grocery store to pick up specific things.
Interaction with Guests
I won't be staying at the house while you're there; I just moved temporarily to Shreveport, LA. My friend Liz takes care of greeting all of my guests when she can, if she can't, she'll make sure you have access to the house upon arrival.
I'm always available to answer any questions you might have or give you some guidance on how to best explore the neighborhood.
I leave a guide of my neighborhood and some menus from my favorite local places.
You'll be in walking distance of several award winning restaurants, bars, parks, and local shops. Check out the maps section of this page; I've tagged all my favorite places.
The bus stop that takes you downtown is less than a block away - although Tampa isn't public transportation friendly.
This is a very central Tampa location, really in the middle of everything so you'll never have a long ride to get to where you're going. Busch Gardens and a few shopping malls are about 10 minutes away.
Other Things to Note
I do not have a cleaning fee so please take extra care to leave the place in decent condition.
I don't often accept one day stays but may be able to accommodate so feel free to ask.
Sorry, but no animals allowed or smoking in the house. Smoking outside is perfectly fine with me.
Please do not do any drugs inside or outside of the house (including pot).
While I try to accommodate all check in and out times I can, the listing is extremely popular and conflicts can easily arise. In these cases, I ask that everyone sticks to standard check in and out times (11AM and 3PM respectively). If I can accommodate a special request, I will always try.
I do not own a TV but wireless internet is available for free if you'd like to watch something on your device.
Please do not move the furniture without informing me first.
We really enjoyed our stay! This house is such a cute bungalow. Located very close to the highway which makes getting around a breeze. Danielle was very helpful and kind. We would love to stay with ypu again sometime!
The home was exactly as depicted and the location was perfect for an event we were attending. There were several great restaurants nearby to choose from. The neighborhood was quiet, in fact, we didn't see a single person on the street during our stay. Check in was simple and communication with Danielle was prompt.
Great place and really close to some wonderful restaurants. Both beds were really comfy and the A/C was crisp!
Currently enjoying my second stay here and it's great in so many ways. Easy, quick walk to restaurants and local stores, plus the bus line is at the end of the street and goes all over the area, plus to connecting stations to take you further. House is big and cozy, and the kitchen is beautiful. Two bedrooms to choose from, one big and one small. Comfortable, great central air, lovely front porch. And protected by an alarm system, which is a huge plus. Cabinets and fridge always have new things like cereal and eggs. Stocked with towels, sheets, and extra blankets. It's an old, historic house, but with modern touches and conveniences (dishwasher, as mentioned central AC). Liz, who manages the property is a fantastic person. So happy to have met her. I highly recommend this house for a short or long term stay.
I love this house! It has a vintage historic feel while still having an updated kitchen and bathroom. The rooms were spacious and my friends and I were able to hang out together or each do our own thing. The host was very sweet and courteous and even though Danielle couldn't meet us her friend Liz gave us information on close beaches and was extremely helpful! I loved it!!
Beautiful house and very helpful with everything! I had an amazing time and would definitely go back again!
Danielle's house was perfect for my mother and I during our stay in Tampa while we were in town for outpatient surgery at Tampa General Hospital. Very convenient to the hospital, comfortable in the evenings, I would not hesitate to recommend it. Neighborhood was quiet and quaint. A nice slice of old Tampa, wish we had had more time to explore. Communication was prompt and every need was addressed.
