Get away to Old Seminole Heights in comfort. I've got a lovely historic home with your name on it.
The home was build in 1926 and has original hardwood floors throughout. Both beds are queens; one a memory foam mattress. The kitchen is fully equipped (gas stove, dishwasher, fridge, spices, grocery basics). I also have a washer and dryer in the garage.
Guests will have access to a fully stocked and equipped kitchen. I live in the house when it's not rented out so everything you'd need is in the house. You'll still need to stop by the grocery store to pick up specific things.
Interaction with Guests
I won't be staying at the house while you're there; I just moved temporarily to Shreveport, LA. My friend Liz takes care of greeting all of my guests when she can, if she can't, she'll make sure you have access to the house upon arrival.
I'm always available to answer any questions you might have or give you some guidance on how to best explore the neighborhood.
I leave a guide of my neighborhood and some menus from my favorite local places.
You'll be in walking distance of several award winning restaurants, bars, parks, and local shops. Check out the maps section of this page; I've tagged all my favorite places.
The bus stop that takes you downtown is less than a block away - although Tampa isn't public transportation friendly.
This is a very central Tampa location, really in the middle of everything so you'll never have a long ride to get to where you're going. Busch Gardens and a few shopping malls are about 10 minutes away.
Other Things to Note
I do not have a cleaning fee so please take extra care to leave the place in decent condition.
Sorry, but no animals allowed or smoking in the house. Smoking outside is perfectly fine with me.
Please do not do any drugs inside or outside of the house (including pot).
While I try to accommodate all check in and out times I can, the listing is extremely popular and conflicts can easily arise. In these cases, I ask that everyone sticks to standard check in and out times (11AM and 3PM respectively). If I can accommodate a special request, I will always try.
I do not own a TV but wireless internet is available for free if you'd like to watch something on your device.
Please do not move the furniture without informing me first.
Super emplacement, très propre, lits confortables et laveuse sécheuse qui nous ont bien servis.
Très facile de correspondre avec l'hôte.
Even though Danielle wasn't in town, accessing the house was very easy, and she checked on us to be sure we made it safely, given our very late arrival time. That was very reassuring. The neighborhood is really walkable, and there are interesting up-and-coming spots worth visiting. All are a short block away. We felt really safe in this quiet, spacious house. We also knew that Danielle and her sister were very easy to reach, if we had questions. I'd say Danielle is a generous host. The house kitchen is stocked and open!
This is our second time staying at Danielle's house in Tampa, and once again we had a wonderful time. Seminole is a great neighborhood to stay in -- quiet and residential with tons of great restaurants and amenities nearby. It's also a great location from which to visit all of the attractions in Tampa. Danielle is a wonderful host -- very responsive to any questions and her house is perfectly clean and well stocked. We are looking forward to our next Tampa vacation!
Danielle made my trip to FL very convenient and welcoming..I chose her because she answers so quickly and tries to accommodate your needs. She is such a nice person...the house was spacious and lovely if you're into old style homes. I felt right at home. Liz helps her and did a wonderful job helping us settle into the area. We arrived around 12 am and was unable to get inside the home, Danielle called me from CA and stayed on the phone with me until Liz was able to get us into the house. The house is historic but has some up to date and more modern features. We felt safe and slept well. The neighbors never bothered us and the neighborhood is quiet. All in all, it was one of my best trips to FL.
The house was perfect, with a beautiful little kitchen. Well-stocked with everything imaginable, including condiments, some spices, coffee, etc.
The neighborhood was great, central to many locations in Tampa, and home to all sorts of ethnic restaurants.
Nice house in quiet area, ideal for a couple or small family. Centrally located and close to downtown and the events as Busch Garden, Ybor City, etc.
Nicole and Liz visited us and showed how the stove and others in the house worked.
We received an invitation to Nicole's brunch a week later, nice and much appreciated. Thank you Nicole, Richard and Evelina!
It was a quaint little home in the coolest neighborhood. The two bedrooms were plenty large enough for our group and the living room, with its Wes Anderson coffee table book, was a big pleaser. The kitchen was wonderful.
The house was easy to find and the driveway was a great convenience. The host left coffee and many other convenient supplies in the kitchen and told us to help ourselves to whatever we wanted.
What a wonderful experience!
