Other Things to Note
The flat will be shared with us: me and my three most beloved women: my wife Beata, our 19-months baby-girl Emilia and a cat Mumrik (which despite name is a female:) so please note that occassional baby noises may came out of the kitchen or our room:) This means also that this is not a place for persons interested in the night life and wild parties. Also - I will not host you if you are sick (fever, caught and so on...). Smoking allowed outside the flat.
Besides (email hidden)ease feel like at home!
I spent 17 nights with Lukasz, Beata, Emilia and Mumrik. Although, it was a long stay, they were all very friendly and helpful all the time. They were cheerful and open for nice discussions. The room and the bed was clean and comfortable. The city center is 15 min walking, the route there is very simple. Nice and calm district with a lot of green areas, parks, bicycle and running paths, playgrounds. I had really nice days there! Highly recommended!
The appartment is comfortable, well-equipped and well-situated. And what is the most important the hosts are really helpful and nice. Apart from this, our 2 year old daughter had fun at a neighbouring playground. We had a great time and really recommend the place for you stay in Uppsala. Adam
Thanks to Lukasz we had a very nice stay!. Lukasz and his family were very friendly and pleasant to talk to. The flat was nice and with all comforts (dish washer, washing machine and hoover). It was located in a quiet neighborhood and close to city center (by bike around 10 mins). We really felt like at home. Highly recommended.
Lukasz and Berta were very nice hosts. Their apartment is quite nice, and they have a pleasant room for rent. Their daughter is absolutely adorable and very friendly. Two words of warning. The little one wakes up relatively early, and she can be a bit noisy since the kitchen is right outside the bedroom. This is at the reasonable hour of 7am, but if you are like me and have now work to do until 10 and every reason to stay up to 1 to talk to people at home, then it can be a bit inconvenient. Second, the apartment is a bit of a walk from downtown, but its pleasant enough when its not raining and you can be in the city center within ten minutes (or the university in 15). They are both very pleasant to talk to, and if I was not avoiding the cat due to my allergies (no problems at all) i would have likely spent more time with them. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, and I thank them for their hospitality.
If you want to spent a very nice time in Uppsala, go to Lukasz and Beata and the cute Emilia. You will find a nice house with a good mood, serenity and harmony. You will be also very welcomed by Murmik, the forth member of this so nice family. She has beautiful green eyes and a paw allways without claws. She will happy to receive your caresses and will offer you in present her delicate affection.
Lukasz and his family are great! They are friendly and available; his child, Emilia, is very cute and she always smiled at us!
The house was not so far from the city center (20 minutes by walk) and was very clean and cozy!
We have spent good time, it was really perfect! The right place where to stay! :)
