We have a bike for rent and there are public bikes for rent at a walking distance.
Public transport in the centre is rather good and cheap.
We recommend you to buy a public transport card/ Antcart (8tl) that you can fill with money, more economic and easier then cash payment. Ask me for an overview of Antalya public transport...
A good way of getting around to places hard to reach with public transport can be to rent a taxi & driver for a day. Prices depend on the places and your negotiation talent.
Car & parking
The parking policy of Kaleiçi is not stable and we do not recommend to park your car there. We can show you some paid and unpaid parking spaces on walking distance.
If you rent a car in Kaleiçi itself then parking is for free and the owners will help you with parking at a legal place. The neighbour rents out cars and we have good experiences with their services.
Other Things to Note
We care about the local people and Antalya and in order to maintain the destination as it is, we will be happy to provide you with tips that support locals and save energy and water.
Please put off the air-co, radiator and all lights, also outside before leaving... better for you, us and the environment!
If something is broken we will arrange it upon departure or deduct the costs from the deposit.
Smoking is allowed but preferably outside.
IT WAS AMAZING! Kaleichi is a heart of Antalya. Just step out of you door and you're in the middle of ancient city. Small winding streets are packed by small shops, souvenirs, cafes and bars. There's small and cozy Mermelli beach near, just 6 min away. It's not free as public beach but it worths its money especially if you have children. There're no so big waves as on public and you can always control your child because beach is small. We tested both Lara and Konyalty beaches and felt in love with Mermelli.
House is very good. There's a small garden inside where you can rest and hide from sun after 2pm. There's a mosque near so you'll hear all daily azans, and every is different. It's very interesting. It'll add special Eastern color to your stay. Note: 1st one is about 5-6am, but don't be afraid, you'll stop hear it after 2 days.
Angelique and Mustafa are very welcome and helpful hosts and will help you in all your needs.
Angelique's house is really nice and antique. We have an enjoyable stay here. It's really convenient to explore the old town if you stay here. Angelique is really helpful!
This flat is spacious, gorgeous, and in the absolute ideal location to enjoy the best parts of Antalya. We walked to the beach, the market and all around the old city enjoying the views, the dining and shops. The apartment is exactly as advertised in the photos and feels safe and centrally located. Angelique was responsive and answered all our questions upon arrival (both about the apt and the local area). Stay here if you visit Antalya!!
Angelique and the property were fantastic. Very welcoming and perfect location. The house is great with a lovely garden and a couple of great dogs next door. Highly recommended!
Great communication, super helpful on arrival and provided a wonderful home for us. Thank you :-)
The place is great and the host lovely. She was there to welcome us as we arrived. The place is as in the pictures and is lovely. It is a nice quiet area, and we really felt at home there. The place is clean and comfy!
Angelique also suggested to us some nice places to visit, which we did and we were not disapointed by those.
If you want to be away from the "resort" type of place and have something more "local", this is the place to go. It's in the middle of the old town and you have all comodities right close; with the luxury of being in the old city! I definitely recommend it !
Angelique also helped us rent a car from the hotel right next and that was very easy and simple.
Angelique is a reliable problem solver host. She went beyond normal to help with our lost baggage and 3 hours flight delay.
The place is charming, clean and wonderful. My little boy loved the back yard a lot too.
