Interaction with Guests
My family and I, we live in the same villa and enjoy the quiet location and close to the city! I can therefore always help when needed, keep a nice chat and give information, at the same time I'm very on the privacy of each guest.
Bus No. 6 holds 5 houses above us, leaving every 10 minutes. It's perfect! In 12 minutes in the city, in 19 minutes at the station, and to / from the airport in 45 minutes changing at the central station in bus number 2!
Nichtraucher No smoking
Keine Haustiere No pets
Bitte Ruhe ab 22 Uhr No loud noise after 22:00
We also appreciate, if our guests try to switch lights off, when they are not needed, and if they try to ventilate the rooms for 10 min 2x per day and don´t shower over excessively and please shut We love the atmosphere of our more than 100 year old house and like to support this sprightly old lady.
We had a wonderful time in Barbara's villa.
She is very friendly and helpful host and we thanks to her.
She gave us a lot of information about Salzbrug including best place, exact price and transportation.
The room was clean and cozy. This room has a small kitchen and you can cook your own meals.
And you will love the hot shower especially in winter season.
If you like cats, try to catch the hearts of her cats. :)
I highly recommend this room.
Barbara was very willing to help out, gave tips for good restaurants in town. Was willing to let me stay past the check-out time because there was no guest coming after me, which I very much appreciated. Having easy and included access to breakfast food (coffee, tea, bread, butter, jam, cold cereal, milk, etc.) was very nice. Very easy bus ride into the center of the city from nearby bus stop. Barbara is very available without being overbearing. Perfect accommodation to visit Salzburg for any length of time.
Good connection to the city. The room is in the basement. It's small and has a nice decoration. Friendly host. Very cute cat. Sharing baths was no problem. Breakfast basic, but good to have due to flexible availability all day. Thank you for the stay.
Barbara is a really nice host. The room is confortable and (as the bathroom) very clean. The bus stop is really close to the house with good and fast (12 minutes) connection to the center.
Nothing but great things to say about our lovely stay with Barbara! Loved coming back to our quiet street every night, to our cozy room and a nice cup of tea to end the day. Barbara is a very thoughtful host, and even gave us a treat of traditional Austrian cookies! (Also, the best hot shower we have EVER had on our travels!)
Would definitely stay here again if ever back in Salzburg, and have recommended it to others!
Barbara was a very welcoming host.
The historical flare of the villa (pictures and furniture) was real and built in in the nice oriental style design of the room.
It was extremely clear in the room and in common areas.
There was a beautiful garden - as far as we could see ignoring the tons of snow that fell during our stay.
We liked hens (yes, there were alive hens) that looked at our window in the morning as the room is located on the ground floor.
The marble shared bathroom was marvelous but as you share it with 3 other rooms you can not leave your stuff there and should really dry it after the usage (it actually easy to get used to it). Everything is so close that you can hear all the sounds from the other rooms and the bathroom.
The district is very quiet and green with villas all around. Suppose it is especially good during the summer. But in winter, with a lot of snow on the ground there is no way you can walk to the old town. Taking a bus is the only option. And it also works during the New Year night.
Barbara provides a great place just like the picture said. The place is close to tram stop of route 6 to parch.

I am married and have 4 children. I grew up in my fathers hotel . Therefore interesting people from different countries and cultures with their stories, the beauty of art and of the little things and the breathtaking nature are fascinating me. My house and garden are reflecting this. And I love gardening- or changing plants...so talk to me, .
