Interaction with guests
Our rustic cottage has several shared amenities within the property which includes two shared living areas with TV/DVD and CD / radio facilities in both, small pool table and a games area in one, along with a large dining area that seats six people in the other. Guests are welcome to socialise with us, or use guest areas - we try to offer a "home from home" so you can do your own thing

Other things to note
Our cottage is a family home which is set in the beautiful moors of the Eden Valley, great for family holidays, walkers, cyclists, motor bikers etc. It is an ideal base for exploring the nearby Lake District, and there are number of historic castles and places of interest nearby. The property is also an ideal "stopping off" venue, being just 15 miles from the M6 (Tebay / Penrith), 30 miles from the M1/A1 (Scotch Corner), practically on the Coast to Coast path, and easily accessible from the East coast ferry ports.
No smoking is permitted anywhere inside the cottage
Refuse is to be put into the wheelie bin on the drive upon departure
Please wash all dishes (or load into dishwasher) and leave shared areas clean and tidy after use
Well behaved dogs are welcome and must be sociable with other dogs.
Other than this, we are pretty relaxed, and muddy boots or wet clothes are not a problem
