This is the best location to enjoy the city from. The apartment is a few steps from sunny Dolores Park and also within easy walking distance of Valencia street which is the heart of the Mission district with amazing restaurants and shops.
The apartment is also 50 meters from the J-Church Muni train line with which takes you right Downtown, to the Embarcadero or out to the Avenues.
This is a clean, comfortable apartment with all the basic amenities.
Make yourself at home. You'll have a key. There is Wi-fi, cable and Netflix if you need some downtime.
Interaction with Guests
I will be present during your stay, usually out, but sometimes working from home. I have a very friendly dog, so if you do not like dogs, this would not be a good fit for you. He will leave you alone if desired, but if you only tolerate dogs, another spot would make sense.
This is one of the hottest neighborhoods in the city with bars, restaurants and other entertainment all within walking distance.
The Muni train is right outside the door and is easy to use. The Bart train is nice 0.7 mile walk and can get you to and from the airport as well as downtown, etc.
Other Things to Note
I'll pick you up or drop you off at SFO for $30. The Bart train is $8.15 and you'll need to walk 9 blocks from the station. Taxi is around $50.
This is a non smoking home. I love dogs, but I cannot host guests with dogs. I can host one guest, but not couples. Please confirm your check in time before arrival.
I wasn't in the apartment much but Jamie was a very nice host. He gave good food recommendations and clear walking directions to and from the BART. His home is very conveniently located near public transport, nightlife and Dolores Park. His dog is a big, curious sweetheart and very friendly.
The reservation was canceled 28 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Fantastic location with a fantastic host. Jamie was friendly, hassle free and laid back (like the rest of San Francisco). He was happy to answer any questions about SF, and obviously had great local knowledge. Also, Ruka the dog was on hand to really make you feel at home. The place is within easy reach of anything you'd ever want: the best bars, restaurants and sights SF has to offer, perfectly bridging The Castro and Mission neighbourhoods. Can't recommend this place enough! Loved every second. Cheers Jamie.
Very nice staying with Jamie and his awesome dog Rvka! Great place and location.
Thanks for hosting. The apartment is in a great location and both Jamie and Ruka are very welcoming! It was my first AirBnB experience and I can thoroughly recommend it.
Jaime's place was as described and certain an easy-going time with great access to get into the downtown if you need it. I wasn't at the place a lot as I was attending a meeting, the internet service was stellar and the bed/bathroom worked for me. Why pay the huge and outragious cost of staying at a hotel when you can meet cool blokes like Jamie (who actually hosted me an extra night!!)? A no-brainer here and his dog is another prime reason to stay. Great 1st Airbnb experience.
Jamie was a great host! His apartment is pretty tidy and there's no better location to stay in San Francisco, you can literally go to the best places walking 5 minutes and go to anywhere getting the train right by the place. I highly recommend Jamie as a host!
