We both work, our business is home based but takes us on the road as well, so we are in and out of the house, some days gone the entire day.
We want guests to make themselves at home whether we are at the house or not.
If you enjoy walking, there is a walking path about 1/4 mile away from our house ( with a couple mile walk into the Village ) that will take you into the Village where you can shop and dine. If you prefer using your car, great shopping and dining are within a mile or two.

We do have a family dog who is 15 years old and loves to be around people, esp.children. When checking in, please bring all your gear into the mud room entrance, then kindly remove your shoes before going to your room, this is a huge help in keeping floors clean with lots of traffic in and out. Please bring used dishes to sink/dishwasher in upstairs kitchen. You may use the refrigerator in the garage. Coffee/tea is available in the kitchen to the left of the sink. We supply the coffee/tea/sugar/1/2 and 1/2 for your enjoyment. ( Sugar is in the cupboard above the Keurig Coffee maker, mugs in the cupboard...help your self if we are not around!)
Please put dirty towels/linens in the hamper in the bathroom. Thanks so much!
From Jun 1 - Aug 31, 2015 the minimum stay is 2 nights.
Hosts were very welcoming, and the house and grounds were lovely and quiet. The gardens are restful and very beautiful.
Everything was sparkling clean!
Laurie and Mark were great hosts, and we really enjoyed our two nights staying at their beautiful home in Shelburne.
The location was great for our biking and brewery visits. Their house is only a couple of miles from the Fiddlehead brewery where we filled our growler the first night and then had dinner on the lovely enclosed patio overlooking their beautiful gardens.
This was a perfect place for us to stay on our short visit to the Burlington area.
This was a great location in a quiet rural-suburban part of Shelburne. Laurie is a relented gardener and there are beautiful views of flowers from each window. A cozy bedroom with a private bath made for a most comfortable stay. The hosts are gracious and helpful as needed. They have a small pool and are very close to a terrific walk-on golf course.
Laurie and Mark are wonderful! They were very informative about the area and generous with their space and company. They have a beautiful, clean and large home on a gorgeous piece of property. Shelburne was my husband's favorite spot on our trip!
Yes, Laurie and Mark made us feel very welcome. The place is nice. I was not able to spent time there because of the nature of my visit but will come back soon.
Friendly, enthusiastic couple that were there to greet us on arrival, show us around the property and our room, and acquaint us with using the house.
Super nice people and great room. Thank you!
