My stay at Aunt Lucy's was muy, muy enjoyable. It is a lovely house and the view from the terrace was spectacular. Ernesto was great at communicating and I was greeted by a lovely woman named Laura who was very patient with my inability to speak much Spanish. I had my own bedroom and bathroom. Both were very clean and comfortable. It's a steep 10 minute walk to the city center but well worth it. Best place in town, highly recommend!

Adorable house. I had good rest. I did not meet the owner but I was well taken care of. I want to thank Federico and his family. They are super nice and willing to help me all the time. I left quite early in the morning. Thanks Federico for helping me get onto the taxi. Ernesto is very responsive and a very nice host. The house is kind of far from the downtown but it is quiet. Anyway, the town is small so only ten minutes walk to the central part.

Beautiful place with a great view. Lucy is very sweet. Make sure you are clear on room type but it was nice.

Lucy is a rare and beautiful person that I have had the great fortune of meeting. My heart is only full of thanks for her generosity, care, good humor and depth of knowledge of many things (including, but not limited to, all the right places to go, people to meet and things to do). Lucy's home is very comfortable and spacious. I wouldn't hesitate to return again and again. Also the little dog, Candi, is extremely adorable. While I didn't meet Ernesto, I spoke to him. They are a great duo making for a great experience. I'd give her six stars if I could!

Ernesto is very friendly and helpful. He replied me very quick about all the questions in proper English. The room is big but not extremely clean. The house is a little bit far from downtown and very steep that I take taxi everyday. The balcony is with a great view and I enjoyed staying there during the night. I recommend it to the guests who want a less expensive accommodation in this beautiful city.

First of all, Tía Lucy's place is just as described in the listing and Ernesto was very attentive when an issue about access and keys came up. My only problem was that Tía Lucy was on vacation and I missed the personal connection which, for me, makes Airbnb so much fun. Her neighbor Laura, who helped with running the house, was very nice and helpful but did not live on the property. There were two other guests who were hardly there and the house was big and rather lonely for me. You might keep in mind that, for safety, it is necessary to take a cab from the neighborhood at nighttime (30-60 pesos depending). My room was large with a private bath ("warm" would best describe the "hot" water) and a great view. Had Tía Lucy been there I think that I would be more enthusiastic. It's certainly a good deal.

I had a great experience! My boyfriend and I were traveling to Gto for the Cervantino and we were on a tight budget. Aunt Lucy's provide secure, well-priced lodging for our week there. It's a bit of a hike from the University (15 min uphill if you walk fast), but worth it if you're looking to save $ (also a good workout). I got sick on my trip and Aunt Lucy helped me get to the local Red Cross for treatment. I couldn't be more grateful. Wifi, washing machine, clean and secure rooms, and a beautiful decor: I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to visit Gto.
