The flat has 2 living rooms, wifi, Sky TV and a lovely big kitchen, which you are more than welcome to use.

The lovely big terrace is a shared space with an honesty bar and the apartment is run as a home from home with guests treated like house guests instead of paying guests. You are more than welcome to come to concerts, events and parties that I am going to locally, and on festival weekends and carnival I do events on the terrace with live capoeira and percussion. If you'd rather just do your own thing or simply hang out in one of the hammocks on the terrace, that's fine too. This bed and breakfast option is only available from December through to March.
There are 2 other bedrooms, both downstairs, which gives you the feeling of having your own separate accommodation within the apartment.
Situated in Barra just 5 minutes from the beautiful Porto da Barra beach (voted one of the world's top 10 beaches) and the main Barra-Ondina carnival route, Barra is just 10 minutes by taxi to the old town, Pelourinho, and is a safe residential neighbourhood full of local bars and restaurants.
Price quoted is for 2 people. Contact me for rates for single occupancy.
You have access to the whole apartment including the kitchen and lovely roof top terrace.
I run the apartment as a guest house but treat everyone as house guests so you are more than welcome to join me at concerts in the old town and invite friends and locals to the flat for evening drinks. I have a lot of contacts in the music, capoeira and dance scenes as well as the local gay scene and links with guest houses and resorts along the coast north of Salvador and on some of the islands south.
English/Brazilian couple who split their time between Brighton and Salvador. When we are in Brazil (usually December through til March) and in Brighton (usually May to August) we do hosted bed and breakfasts - by hosted we mean you're treated as a house guest rather than someone staying in a guest house - you can come with us to concerts and events and join us for drinks on the terrace or in the garden. We do events and receptions for the bigger festival events like Yemanja, Carnival and New Year's Eve in Salvador and Brighton Festival and Pride in Brighton. Happy to introduce you to local friends and try to make your stay as great as possible. Salvador and Brighton are both amazing cities and everyone is very friendly but, like everywhere, you get more out of your stay if you stay with someone who knows the city. You are also welcome to just do your own thing or hang out on the terrace or in the garden. We have a large network of friends and contacts involved in music, arts and dance in both cities. When neither of us is here we rent the flats out as self catering units but still more than happy to advise on local information, where to go and put you in contact with some local friends.
