About this listing
In a cute little alley, a five minute walk from the vibrant Haarlem city center, this charming town house feels like an oasis with a real "neighborhood feel". Directly linked to city garden "Tuin van Jonker", with its own garden, rooftop terrace and orangery (serre), there is plenty of space to relax and recharge. Lovely decoration with an original 50's vibe to it, fully equipped (dish washer etc) decent and clean.
AND excellent connections: direct buses to Amsterdam stop just 4 minutes away.
Light and cosy, with a living room (with fire place!) and orangery to sit back and relax, lovely kitchen and one nicely redone bedroom with view on the City Garden (and natural wake up sounds by the local birds).
My guest have access to the entire house except for one bedroom that I use to story my own stuff during a stay.
Interaction with guests
I strive to always meet and greet my guests personally, tell them about the neighborhood, Haarlem and try to answer any question.
4 minute walk to bus stop with direct buses to Amsterdam and close connection to intercity highway.
I'm Jorien, a 30-year old woman with my own lovely house in Haarlem. I like to read, write, catch up with friends, do yoga.. I studied International Relations & Policy making and am now working in business with a study of Applied Psychology on the side, so something completely different :-). I love to keep learning and traveling is a big part of my life (with a special place in my heart for Mexico and Central America) and it's always fun to meet like minded people!
I moved to Haarlem from Amsterdam last year and I absolutely adore this town. It's exactly between the Amsterdam vibrant city life, and the more relaxed beach life, which appeal to different sides of my personality. And there's lots of fun and culture to experience here, without the tourist masses.
I can rent you my charming little town house and of course give you lots of tips about Haarlem and its beautiful surroundings.
