A uniquely and artisically designed apartment for your Montreal escapades! Our very large apartment is a two-bedroom which overlooks a beautiful church and luxurious Laurier Avenue West.
The flat includes a kitchen (with fridge, oven and microwave), dining room, living room, three piece bathroom and two bedrooms. The large master bedroom comes equipped with a queen-size bed. A second room for additional guests can be used with a brand new double sized matress. The enormous living room and dining room provide inspiring light, cozy lounging and substantial space for dinner parties that seat eight comfortably. A small patio means al fresco dining is just a step away, alongside magnificent sunsets! The light in our apartment is always fabulous!!
We'd love to have you!
Free wifi and netflix on Apple TV!
The apartment is located just steps away from the trendy Mile-End district. The popular Plateau Mont-Royal is about a ten minute walk. Both neighborhoods are home to countless bars, cafés, shops and restaurants. Internationally-renowned Mount Royal park is a ten minute walk. A little french cafe is located directly across the street, I recommend the croissants! Parking is available on city streets free of charge.
A bus stop is located directly in front of the building that can take you to Laurier Metro station in ten minutes, or simply take a 2-minute walk to a bus that will take you directly downtown to St. Catherine Street in about ten minutes aswell.
Coin Laundry facilities are located in basement of building. Utilities and wireless internet included. I also have Apple TV so you watch movies from my netflix account. Fresh sheets and towels provided!
Please only smoke on the patio and respect our neighbors. Also, please tidy up after yourself, including the dishes. Please don't be too loud in the hallways of the building or play music too loud after 11pm. Last, please remember to leave your keys with us! Thank you! :)
Lyndsay was perfect, always free to ask to all my questions, she explains me everything and wants my family and i feel more than confortable in her home... And it was owesome! This appartement is bright, really big, well decorated, and good located.
We find fresh flowers in every rooms, a place so clean, good neighborough, just perfect!!!
We had the perfect airbnb experience at Lyndsay's place. Her apartment is spacious, charming, clean and has a great record collection! The location couldn't be better. On a quaint (and quiet) street that is filled with shops, outstanding restaurants, a wine store, gourmet market and its just a few blocks to a larger grocery store. We enjoyed getting breakfast pastries and tea/coffee at the bakery across the street. Her apartment is also fully stocked with supplies for cooking/eating in, which we had to do often during our week's stay since we were traveling with our 15 month old daughter.
The location is also very convenient for public transportation. And, for families, there are two amazing parks for children just a few blocks away that we visited daily.
Lyndsay provides thorough information for her guests on the neighborhood and her apartment building. She is also very accessible and responsive via text message if you have add'l questions.
We had a wonderful time and feel that we really lucked out by finding this apartment. We wouldn't want to stay in any other neighborhood if we have the chance to return to Montreal. I highly recommend Lyndsay's place to anyone!
This was just a phenomenal rental. The hosts were simply great. Responsive via text and email. Very helpful with respect helping us find things we needed in the apartment. The apartment is a very large, cozy, and roomy two-bedroom place. Clean and stylish. The apartment is exactly as advertised and gets plenty of daylight. The neighbourhood is amazing. Even though you are on a moderately busy street, you really don't hear the hustle and bustle below. You get all of the perks of being located in Outremont with the ability to enjoy many of the trendier elements in the Mile-End. I would highly recommend this space to anybody travelling to Montreal and really wants a sense of living in one of the livelier parts of the city.
Like Lyndsay's other guests have said, the apartment is awesome; it's spacious, with plenty of daylight and furnished with interesting & tasteful pieces. The photos are accurate and represent the apartment well; definitely memorable compared to a beige hotel room. The queen size bed was comfortable, with everything neat and tidy. And you'll even find a great selection of music on vinyl, with the requisite record player...wow.
As an ex-Montrealer, I can confirm the location is terrific, within walking distance to my favourite Fairmont Bagels and The Main; out the front door are a choice of excellent restaurants (e.g. acclaimed Leméac) along with a gourmet food shop and SAQ (liquor store). And yet the neighbourhood is quiet, with available free parking and public transit 5 minutes away.
The only thing missing was getting to meet Lyndsay herself. Maybe next time.
Beautiful apartment with great light, particularly in the evening! Lyndsay was a great host, gave us everything we needed and communicated very clearly. The area around here is also really lovely - we recommend Le Figaro for breakfast!
We enjoyed out stay at Lydsay's apartment. It's a great location, and the apartment is spacious and comfortable. It's an older place, with nice high ceilings, and a quirky, but workable layout. It's more of a place for younger people, with a lot of stairs. It was fine for us, but some older people, might have a bit of a problem with the stairs. We'd certainly recommend Lyndsay's apartment for someone wanting to stay in a great spot, and a very nice apartment.
I luckily got to meet Lyndsay, who was super welcoming, offered lots of advice on what to do, where to get groceries, and her apartment is just as gorgeous as the pictures show. It's also clean, quiet, and well-located. Everything went smoothly and I would definitely stay there again if in Montreal.
My name is Lyndsay and I live in Montreal, Canada. I enjoy art, music and crafts and studied in international relations. I have worked and volunteered for a number of non-profit NGOs and work in human resources. I live with mon amour Dave (he`s the best). My short-term plans are to travel the world and start a business.
