Other things to note

We are a family who manage a holiday home, not a hotel, so we have to organize in advance our meet up for giving you the keys to let you have the best stay ever from your arrival: You can easily continue communicating your arrival/departure plans on Airbnb website and app.
If you're coming by plane, I recommend you our private cab service from the airport to the apartment at the same price as a normal taxi. The benefit is that our driver will wait for you (even if delays occur) at the exit of the controlled area with your name written on a board; the price is locked and you will not have to wait or argue. It will take 30 min instead of 1,5 hours with public transport (16,50 € per person). If you would like it, I will need your flight info and number to arrange it.
At home you will find all the tips about buses and area.

Very nice apartment! We enjoyed our stay a lot. There are nice small restaurants across the street and the host was very kind to keep our luggages after the checkout time.

The apartment was as better than expected and the pictures are very accurate. Large 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, family room and kitchen. Lots of kitchen untensils to cool comfortably. Host met us at checkin, showed us everything, left goodies like chocolates, juice, crackers and some basics for cooking. Very much appreciated. The apartment is a bit away from the heart of Rome and in a nice quiet residential street. The bus 75 is right downstairs which goes to Roma Termini, coloseum. We used that few times. I would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone thinking. Specially for family of 4...it was just perfect.

Highly recommand Anna's House because you feel welcome like a local in a non touristic part of Rome. It's a Rome experience in a very nice appartement with a warm welcome and a lot of information about restaurants, walks, etc. Gianluca and his team will do everything to make you feel at home in Anna's House. 20 minutes walk to Trasteverre and 30 minute walk to the old part of Rome. There is a busstop and trainstation nearby. Download the public transport app of Rome, that's your best help in town. Decidere is a great dolcibar to start your Italian day, it is on the other side of the road. Supermarket, restaurants, shops and theater nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much, thank you all!

Gianluca's place is located close to major attractions and right across from a cafe and restaurant that we enjoyed very much. Great communication with our host.

Our overall experience at Anna's house was good. The host and Shuko, who takes care of the listing, were very friendly and helpful, and in particular when our flight was delayed, Shuko very kindly adjusted her plans. As the very accurate photos suggest, the flat is very attractive and comfortable and it was also very clean. There are just a couple of points that could make the description of the amenities in the listing a little more accurate and take the place from good to great. Firstly, the flat is listed as being with heating, which was important to us at the time of year. It turned out that the building's heating was not available, and the single air conditioning unit was not effective at heating the flat (it created so much cold air before warming started that it wasn't really a viable option). There was some extreme weather during our stay and our clothes did not dry for days, so I would not recommend this listing for November or early Spring. The thing that bothered me most about the heating issue was that we were initially not told the truth about the reason for the heating being unavailable (the first day we were told that it was illegal to use heating in Rome before Nov. 15; I checked the legislation myself and the host then gave another reason for the heating not being available). I don't think this was intentional dishonesty but it doesn't make the best impression. Secondly, there was also a small discrepancy in the price given in the listing for cleaning and the price charged. There was no problem once I pointed out that the listing was different, but if I had not have taken care, we would have paid too much; again, it gives the impression of minor dishonesty where I think none was there, just a little lack of attention to detail. Thirdly, the washing machine did not work. With a machine that old, I would suggest checking it turns on between guests. Finally, although of course the location on the map is clear, the language of the description is a little misleading in terms of how central it is. The nearby station is not a metro station, as the listing states, but a local light rail station. The connection is good at some times of day but not frequent in the evenings -- guests may want to check the timetable before booking. The closest sights are only within walking distance if you consider 35 minutes plus walking distance. This may seem a very negative review, but this is a very nice, well-taken care of flat, and just a few small changes to the listing would make it perfect. It would be great for travellers with children and sleeps 5 comfortably. I totally recommend this listing with the caveats mentioned above.
