Loved the Anna House! Well stocked kitchen, the vintage art and personal touches made it feel so homey. We were able to check in early and the housekeeper helped us set up our beds the way we wanted.
De communicatie verliep uitstekend. Gianluca (GL) spreekt goed engels.
We had a really nice stay at Anna's House. Gianluca was out of town, but his mother showed us in and made sure we had whatever we needed. The apartment is out of the hustle and bustle of Rome, but still convenient (particularly once you figure out the best bus and train routes!). We didn't spend much time in the apartment because of all of our sight-seeing, but it was a very spacious and comfortable apartment to come back to.
The host welcomed us as soon as we arrived at the apartment. He was also helping us on our initial arrival in Rome by text messages and with very accurate details of travel to his apartment. The apartment was exactly as the photos showed it to be and possibly it was better than the pictures. The ac within the apartment is in the 2nd bedroom only and there was a fan for use in the main bedroom and the living area.
The area that the apartment is located in is fairly quiet and appears safe and trouble free. The local shops are all very close and can easily be reached by walking.
The apartment is approx 20-25 mins by bus which was easy to use and only cost 1.20 Euro per person each journey. The buses were every 30 mins and the stops where very close to the apartment.
Really huge house. Gianluca was very helpful. Even though the place is a bit off from the main city, easily accessible by the Quattro Venti metro station or by 75 bus.
If you plan on going to Vatican, this is really close( just a train stop away)
