Gianluca was very helpful when we arrived and was responsive to our enquiries. The apartment is quite comfortable and is in a non touristy part of town but still close to the city. The restaurant and the pasticceria directly across the road are both excellent and there are good takeaways in the area as well.
The 75 bus on the street takes you into the city past the Colosseum and the Forum to Termini. We were very happy to stay there and would recommend the apartment to any of our friends.
Just got back from an amazing stay in Rome with my boyfriend. What made it even better was Anne's apartment. The apartment is huge stylish and the area is ideal for commuting to all major attractions. As mentioned in other reviews locally there are some local shops and restaurants. Across the street is a lovely chocolate shop perfect for authentic coffee and cake in the morning with locals best thing is you don't pay tourist prices. The taxi rank is across the street the train station is a block away and the bus stop is just along the road. If you want to walk its 30 mins to local attractions. You won't regret your stay. I would defiantly recommend and would love to go back.
We had a great time with my family at Anna's apartment. Gianluca is nice host.
The place is very suitable for accommodation of 5 persons, the location is perfect and the links with public transport suitable both from neighborhood to city center(less than 15mins.), but also from arriving from airport. The interior is in cosy vintage style with suitable kitchen.Opposite there is a fantastic sweet house, nice restaurant and bars around. We had a wonderful time here.
I will highly recommend to stay at Anna's apartment and if I have a chance I will be back:-)
We stayed recently at Anna's house for five days , we were two couples .The flat is comfy and the price correct but in the kitchen a micro-wave oven and an electric coffee-machine would be convenient .
We had problems with the pubic transports , the advert says " just 300 meters to the subway station " quattro Venti "from which
you can reach all the major points of interests in Rome but in fact it's a regional train ,you have to take it first in order to catch the subway further and all the trains don't stop at "Quattro Venti" so sometimes you have to wait for long . As for the 75 bus we had to wait for more than half an hour at Trastevere to come back home at 10 a.m .
We stayed at Gianluca's apartment in Rome and had a very happy time there. The apartment is very clean, spacious, comfortable, quiet and we felt safe. The kitchen is well equipped making it easy to prepare meals. Gianluca is a kind host, which we appreciated very much, as it was our first visit to Rome. It is a pleasant neighbourhood, plenty of shops, restaurants, a taxi rank nearby and frequent buses, once you can find the shop on Barilli to purchase the bus tickets. Ancient Rome is a stunning spectacle, for us the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican was the supreme experience. A word of warning regarding Vatican taxi drivers - not to be trusted and pick pockets lurk in crowded areas. Thank you Gianluca for allowing us to stay in your great apartment in Rome.
Anna's House was the perfect place for our four generation family weekend getaway. The linens smelled fresh and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of dishes and everything we needed to make it feel like home. Transportation, restaurants, grocery stores, and bakeries were all within walking distance. We even walked to the vatican from there. I would recommend this apt. to anyone and would definitely go back.
I stayed at Anna's house together with my parents for 4 nightsin the beginning of Febraury. We enjoyed the apartment, which is really huge, very clean and equipped with everything one may need; loved the location - a nice grocery store and a beautiful Villa Sciara is in 5 minutes walk, bus stop is just round the corner if you mind 30-40 minutes walking to the touristic centre. Gianluca and his wife Roberta are very nice and welcoming people. For sure we will recommend the place to our friends and be happy to stay there again!
Our family had a fantastic time at Anna's house. The apartment is excellent and Gianluca is a friendly and accomodating host. The fact that the place is very close to Quatro Venti train station as well as walking distance from Trastevere neighbourhood made for comfortable connecting to the main tourist destinations as well as pleasant walks and great views of Rome.
We loved staying here! It is in a great part of Rome- not touristy but an easy bus ride or walk to all the main attractions. It also has a great neighbourhood where we spent a lot of time out eating and drinking in the evenings.
The apartment is great with a ton of space and all the amenities you need. Gianluca and his family are right upstairs whenever you need anything.
I will definitely stay here if we go back to Rome.
The apartment is huge, clean and comfortable for 4 people. The place is convenient, quiet and no far to city centre. We use a taxi for our group it was more comfortable than public transport. It costs only 10 euro to the city centre. Just across the street you can see a beautiful confectioner's (shop). Good restaurant and supermarket just steps away from the apartment. Gianluca and Roberta are very helpful hosts. They help for us to book the restaurant for New Year's Eve because we arrived late in the evening.
We have fantastic Roman holidays.
Thank you Gianluca!
We would definitely recommend this apartment.
