This is a private space in the basement of my house, and it has a separate entrance. The minimum stay is 3 days with the exception of weather related events when travelers may be stranded due to flight cancellations. I am willing to consider other arrangements.
When you first arrive, I will have three-days worth of breakfast items in the kitchen for your use, at no cost.

Clean, safe, family oriented neighborhood in Springfield Township, PA, near shopping and supermarkets. The neighborhood has a great variety of restaurants and several small and middle-sized malls, and is within walking distance from Swarthmore College.
We are 15-25 minutes away from Philadelphia using the suburban SEPTA line. This commuter train (SEPTA Media/Elwin Line) is 4 blocks away from the apartment (Morton Station). This train travels into Philadelphia with stops along West Philadelphia, and 3 major city exchanges on Market St.: 30th St. Station, Suburban Station at City Hall, and Jefferson Station (formerly Market East) at 12St.
If you are driving, we are 2.5 miles from the entrance to I-476, 3-miles from the entrance to I-95, and 20 min. away from Philadelphia International Airport.
Check in after 3:00 and before 7:00 unless pre-arranged otherwise, and checkout by 11:00am. There is some flexibility, depending on the occupancy that day.
• Please treat our home as you would your own.
• I am looking for quiet, respectful guests who do not smoke. This includes the patio.

We are here to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Let us know what you need. I am friendly and accessible and can guide you as to what places to visit in the city. With previous notice, I will do pick up and drop off at the airport if possible (small car). Please call me once you land.
The apartment is fully equipped. There is a cooking stove and a microwave but no oven.
I will interact with guests if they so desire. Since the apartment has its own entrance, I will not normally disturb the guests unless they want to come up to the house and share some time with us. The only exception to this is if we have to access the heating, water and electrical systems which are all housed in the apartment. I will notify guests if this is necessary.
This is a family-oriented neighborhood. Most of the neighbors commute to the city (Philadelphia) using the SEPTA suburban train line.
You can walk to all services or you can take the train. There is limited bus service from the Morton train station and also buses from Baltimore Pike, which is a longer walking distance. If shopping at a supermarket you may need a car since the walk is around two+ miles. There is a convenience store (WaWa) within a reasonable walking distance (15 min.).
Things to do in or near Philadelphia: History,
Museums (art and medical oddities), Delaware River activities, Schuylkill River, Universities, the Philadelphia Zoo, the food, visiting the upscale neighborhoods. There is something for everyone.
All utilities are included (internet, and cable TV).

Olivia was a fantastic host! She was willing to meet our needs (we were traveling from far away) and was accommodating in all regards. She keeps the listing in perfect condition and does a fair review of the space upon check out. Olivia is willing to be as present as you'd personally like, or provide you with as much space as you feel is appropriate. She is great for conversations, and I would book her listing again if I'm in the area.
Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Olivia and her apartment! My best friend and I were in the area for a week to check out some historical sites, and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Olivia was very friendly and made us feel welcome right away, and was always very prompt and extremely helpful with communication. As for the apartment, it was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed - the kitchen was well-stocked and particularly helpful for saving money on dinner, and despite being in the middle of a heat wave the temperature inside was always very comfortable. Thank you so much for everything, Olivia!
Olivia is an absolute sweetheart. I cannot thank her enough for making my fathers stay so pleasant and easy. There is only one word to describe the apartment. Absolutely perfect! Way better than staying in a hotel!
My mom and I had the pleasure of staying in Olivia's cutesy basement apartment. Olivia is amazing! Great location and the bed is super comfy. There is a nice patio at the top of the steps where my mom and I sipped on coffee. I'm not big on television but there is a huge TV to watch your programs on:) Olivia left us some breakfast in the fridge as well. She has equipped this little flat with everything you would need for a comfy cozy stay. Thank you Olivia! Next time I'm in the area I will definitely be staying again.
Olivia is very kind, good host. And she's house is so beautiful, comfortable, interior design is good. During the travel I have good memory.
Next time I wish restay she's house!!
I had a lovely stay at Olivia's apartment -- it has everything one could need, as well as privacy and a quiet and convenient location, and would be perfect for longer stays, for working at the college, in the city, or elsewhere. Olivia is a very kind and considerate host, very responsive and goes above and beyond what could be expected, in offering rides from the airport, for example. A great place to stay in the area!
Our stay at Olivia's place was wonderful. Olivia was a great host who communicated with us and accommodated our schedule graciously. Me and my wife had planned to arrive on the morning of May 16, but were unable to get there till later in the night. Olivia had informed us she would wait to receive us, but had to leave to attend an event. She made arrangements for us to access the apartment in her absence. The apartment was in great shape and self-contained. The photos are exactly what you will see when you enter the apartment. No stock photos. The description of the place is accurate. Olivia even had some food in the fridge for us to eat; milk, eggs, muffins, fruit, cereal etc. This was something we were not expecting, and we really appreciated.
We met Olivia the next morning after our arrival and she is a genuinely nice person who is interested in getting to know people.
If we are ever in Philly and need a place to stay, we would consider Olivia's place in a heartbeat.
Thank you, Olivia for hosting us.
