Skyline Villa Ubud

House - Entire home/apt · Ubud, Bali 80571, Indonesia

The Space

Only 50 feet from the main house, this completely self-contained separate villa is a nice section of paradise. Priced accordingly, it has everything a single person, couple or small family needs for fun.

Only 5 minutes to the Yoga Barn with scooter taxi.

Built in 2013, this is a very special complete all in one villa. Perfect for one or two. It is nestled at the front of a 550 square meter property in Ubud Bali. Seven minutes to downtown Ubud with the supplied free scooter transportation one time to downtown and back. The 550 square meter gated compound is completely flat for easy walking and surrounded by high walls making your yard private, quiet and relaxing!

Everything is included for a nice stay. You have a private quiet bedroom with a brand new queen size bed. At one end of the bedroom is a conversation area. Adjoining the bedroom is a large bathroom with great hot water. Along with an icy A/C you have a nice little porch area with a view of the 40 foot pool.

If reading a good book is your plan, you have a nice outdoor gazebo under the shade with a nice view of the pool. If swimming is your thing you'll find this pool one of the best on the Island. Under professional maintenance daily, we are always told it's one of the cleanest and most beautiful around!

If just touring the garden is your thing, you are quietly encased in your own 550 square meter walled off and gated compound with private enclosed scooter and car parking. The villa has been designed from scratch to offer ease of access being made with 100% perfectly flat walkways, rare in Bali. There are full cement walkways from the carport to the villa making a smooth transition for groceries or luggage.

Being newly built in 2013, the villa is our 4th and most successful construction project. We have slowly learned to make these places better and better, and this place is one we are the most proud of.

If this is your first visit to the Island or your a seasoned return guest, you'll find the Skyline Villa Ubud to have everything you need for a perfect stay. Even if your meeting friends and plan on entertaining a small group of four, the villa has room and seating for the occasion.

Our location is perfect. Many rooms in Bali end up being near noisy roads or construction sites. Sometimes they are near farms or factories that produce unwanted noise or smells. Many times they can be near temples which have loud ceremonies and nightly music. The Skyline Villa Ubud finds itself at the side of a quiet Bali community. It's the perfect place for serenity and meditation inside. If you do want to have some friends over and make a little noise, you have the freedom too!

Everything is included with your stay along with fresh white sheets and towels and arrival breakfast. The villa has regular maid service too making it always feel like your own cozy home away from home. The staff is always available and friendly but not in the way. Basically everything is included so you can spend your time planning the daily fun. So many of our guests have extended their stay or referred their good friends to the villa. To us a referral ends up being the best complement showing us that we have done things just right on this one.

We have spent considerable time and effort getting the best quality electricity to the villa by installing our very own power poles. The quality power guarantees all your laptops and phones get the pure stable power they need. Many places in Bali can find themselves far from town in the middle of rice fields where the lights dim every two minutes, indicative of a surging unstable power supply. We are lucky to be in-town with great stable electricity for your needs.

Thank-you for your interest in our new villa. Please send us any questions that come to mind. As you can read, we have a great driver that can pick you up at the airport, as well as a wonderful friendly staff to get for you anything you may need on the Island. We welcome you to make our little island home your home while in Bali. We feel we offer the best private villa Bali experience on offer for the price. Give us a try and join the club of return guests who found this little piece of magic here on the Island.

  • Very comfortable bungalow with private outdoor living area overlooking at the swimming pool. The breakfast prepared by the staff is very nice and more generally, the staff is very helpful if you need to rent a scooter or find a driver to drop you somewhere else.
The house is 10 minutes away from central Ubud by scooter, but locomotion is compulsory !
There is a neighbor with roosters and hens behind the wall of the bungalow and this gets to be very noisy as the sun goes up. We were up at 7 at the latest every morning.. You have to know it, or bring your earplugs !
The pool is very nice too, after a day in the heat of Ubud.
    Many thanks Komang !!

  • I booked 5 nights in Komang's Skyline Villa Bungalow in early August 2013 but ended up staying a total of 6 nights. The property is a little hard to find when you initially arrive but if you tell your driver to call the number provided all will be good. When I first arrived no one seemed to know about my arrival which was slightly understandable as I had emailed Komang 2 days prior asking if it was possible to arrive 1 day earlier then booked. There was also confusion because those staying on the property and the staff where not aware the place was referred to as "Skyline Villa", they referred to it as another name, which as confusing for a bit until I pulled up Komang's picture associated with the reservation. But all was quickly sorted out and the staff went to work on preparing the bungalow for my stay (Flowers on my nightstand and on my patio table was such a nice touch). The bungalow is behind/infront of a larger two story house that was occupied by 5 or 6 very nice people. I found my bungalow to be quite nice. The bed is big and comfee. They have a nice wardrobe cabinet to hang and store clothes. The bathroom is nice and a very nice size and the shower provides hot water. Breakfast was included and my patio was a very nice setting to enjoy it. The staff makes a very nice breakfast - eggs, toast, fruit and coffee or tea and the portions are very generous! The staff is wonderful; friendly and accommodating. Just ask and they will coordinate. Location is nice; not too far or too close to central Ubud . My recommendation is to rent a motorbike since there are no sidewalks 1/2 of the way to Central Ubud from Komang's Skyline Villa Bungalow. In addition, the streets are very dark at night, even with a flashlight. The staff will coordinate a motorbike for you within minutes from your request. WiFi is hit or miss in the bungalow and porch ares but stronger near the larger house on the property. I found using the wifi while near the pool was my best bet. Not a bad location to do some work. The pool is a nice size and well kept. It was so nice to take a swim after a busy day touring Ubud or surrounding areas. What needs to be mentioned is the noise factor. There are A LOT of nature noises Komang's Skyline Villa Bungalow which is nice but if you are a light sleeper, which I am not, you may have a concern staying at this location - rooster, chicken, pig, dog, cat noises and a chant call/prayer noises. The noise is loud and constant, all day and night. Unfortunately, if I was with any of my many friends who are light sleepers we would have had to move, but luckily for me it was a solo trip. I enjoyed my...

  • My husband and I stayed in Komang's lovely guest house for about a week and a half. We had work to complete, so having good wifi was very important for us. The wifi worked very well, and Komang even told us that she was upgrading soon to something even better. The pool was refreshing, clean, and a perfect touch to the beautiful yard. The lovely couple who cleaned the home and pool were very helpful during our stay. We had laundry done a couple times and the wife made us a delicious breakfast every morning! The guesthouse was the perfect size for my husband and I. We were mostly only in there to sleep and get some refuge from the Bali heat (aircon worked great). The wifi didn't reach the guesthouse, but there was a nice big table in the outdoor kitchen for us to work at. We also bought groceries to keep in the fridge and make lunch/dinner most days. You will definitely want a motorbike if you stay here as it is not near much. Which was nice because it was always quiet (besides the nature sounds, which we liked). Groceries, restaurants, and the main city center is just a quick 10 minute motorbike ride away. We would definitely stay here again!

  • We stayed here for 3 nights. It is a nice new place, with a lovely pool and great outdoor kitchen. It is a challenge for out of town taxi's to find, but use the T House as the closest major landmark.

I'm a heavy sleeper, but my companion definitely could hear the roosters next door.

The place is about a 10 min drive from central Ubud. Clarify transportation with Komang before arriving, as the woman who cleans/cooks does not speak English well.

Komang, though we only saw her once, was lovely and very helpful!
