Private room in nice terraced house, close to town centre. Great local amenities and transport links, use of shared kitchen/bathroom/living room. Ideal for exploring lively Newcastle or the beauty of Northumberland.
Splendid location, friendly welcome, relaxed vibe, in a comfortable and quirky period house.

Neighbourhood is safe, accessible and with good amenities.
Getting around - We're close enough to walk into town, but there's a very good bus service (No 1 if arriving by train) and we're quite handy for the Metro, which runs from the airport.

Paul is a really open and welcoming guy. He made me feel at home instantly. I forgot my plug adaptors and he offered every solution on earth =)
The house is cosy and close to the city center by bus and has a nice park next to it.
Definitely recommend it!
I stayed in for 4 days. Paul is a very cool and easy going person. The neighbourhood is quiet and calm, and not far from the center.
Paul is a great guest, funny, accommodating, easy going, very nice to talk to. He has a charming, real place full of character and I felt immediately at home. I needed to do some work and since the room is small and no desk in it, Paul let me use the main table of the living room. The place is within walking distance of the city centre, and in a nice, quirky neighborhood. Highly recommended, I would stay there again anytime
Great host and a nice room with a very nice bed. The host gives the perfect amount of assistance and freedom.
Uncomplicated host, very quick reply to my request. I was there on short notice and for only one night, so Paul and I just met briefly & exchanged keys and he gave me some useful tips (thanks for the map!).
House is clean and very nice, easy to reach from downtown - its a 10 minute walk, or you can take bus number 1 from anywhere near the metro.
The house is in a nice residential area close enough to the town centre and the university. The house is very nice and clean, the room comfy and the host, very nice.Thanks.
From Newcastle, loves travel but hates hotels :)
Sometime musician, and currently working in design, so always keen to welcome artists, actors and performers of any type. But we've hosted biologists, brewers, builders, you name it... and got on with everyone!
