The apartment is situated in a really charming and historic quarter of Dublin. It's immediately next door to IMMA (Irish Museum of Modern Art) which is housed in a beautiful 17th century building in stunning landscaped gardens.
A short walk round the corner is the Guinness Storehouse which is the Number 1 tourist attraction in Ireland at the moment. The tour is fascinating and ends with a pint of Guinness in the spectacular Gravity bar in the roof of the building with a 360 degree view overlooking the whole city!
The apartment is only 1 mile from Dame Street and the main shopping district of Grafton Street.
It's also only a 10 minute walk from the Phoenix Park (the wellington monument is visible from the balcony), perfect for picnics, walks or a visit to the zoo!
The Heuston Station Luas (tram) is just down the road about a 4 minute walk away and that will bring you into the centre north of the city. Heuston Station is also the main train station and runs inner city trains should you be going to another town or city in Ireland after your stay.
Other Things to Note
We love living in this apartment and we're 100% sure that you'll love staying here.
We stayed for 2 nights at Nora's apartment. It was just as discribed and more. The apartment is really cool. Felt very relaxed and at home. It was clean and had everything we needed.
Nora was a perfect host. She even met us at the airport and shared her local knowledge which really made our trip. Would definitely recommend.
Nora's place was a perfect spot to explore Dublin. The apartment was very clean and as advertised, and communication with Nora and Peter was great. The apartment is within 5 minutes to Heuston station and has the tourist hop on/off bus stop right outside the building. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Dublin.
We had an awesome time at Nora's place. She was super friendly and flexible when it came to an early check-in. Our stay in Dublin was great, in part, due to how at home we felt while at Nora's. No complaints whatsoever. Would highly recommend staying at ther place - very spacious and comfortable and just a short walk away from all the main amenities downtown Dublin has to offer. Perfect 10 all around. ;)
This apartment was absolutely incredible. We came to Dublin to participate in St. Patrick's festivities, yet took a night off solely to spend more time within the apartment. The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful and offers many transportation modes to get into the centre. Nora was very hospitable and instantly made us comfortable. Her friendly and outgoing demeanor is reflected with her insanely cool decorations too. Absolutely recommend if you're traveling to Dublin.
Peter was incredibly fast at responding to messages - he was even accommodating when my group had a last minute change of plans and needed to stay an extra night. The apartment is very spacious and looks exactly as pictured on Airbnb. The location is a bit further from the center of Dublin's action, but cabs and public transport are very accessible near the apartment.
Peters apartment is gorgeous and in such an ideal part of Dublin. Its away from the heart of the city so you dont have the noise but it is then only 10mins on the luas or about a 20 main walk to the city centre. The apartment is big and spacious with more than enough room for 4 adults. The Buddha bag in the living room is comfort on another level. Would highly recommend this apartment.
