Arlene was very hospitable. She showed me to my room when I got there, which was clean and had the air conditioning on and had all the information I would need for my stay in her home as well as all kinds of info for Louisville. The bathroom, which is shared, is also clean. I appreciated that! The dogs are very sweet, but they are put away in their own space. She's welcoming, shares her space, including kitchen and living room space. Nice home, cool person. I didn't get to meet Teresa this time, as she was away.
The building is older and has some quirks, but don't let that deter you from staying here.
My mom and I stayed with Arlene and Teresa during a road trip from Colorado to NY. These two hosts are very welcoming, fun, kind and have a beautifully appointed home. I would highly recommend staying here while in Louisville. The location is fantastic - right in the heart of old Louisville - make sure to walk around and view all of the Victorian architecture.
I loved everything about my stay with Arlene and Teresa. The apartment was beautiful. They accommodated my late and early schedule. They provided me with coffee and great conversation. I was in town for a conference downtown, so I did not get to spend much time at the place besides sleeping. I loved their dogs and that helped to miss my dog less. I appreciated the air conditioner and basket of toiletries. Their place was in walking distance to downtown, plus right next to a bus route. Their home was clean and welcoming and best of all affordable! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and stay there again if I ever find myself in Louisville again! Thank you Arlene and Teresa!
I stayed here when I was driving from Buffalo, NY to Austin, TX. I was exhausted after a day of driving and anxious for another full day of driving the next day. Everything about my stay here was perfect- amazing hosts, comfortable bed and and environment conducive to complete rest and relaxation. I left in the morning refreshed and ready to take on the challenge of an exhausting drive. I highly recommend this accommodation!
They were lovely. House and room were clean. Location was easy to find. Parking was a little tricky later in the evening but was easily sorted out.
Arlene and Teresa were excellent hosts! Super accommodating and helpful. Great recommendations for the area. Their home was very comfortable and welcoming. We'd definitely recommend a stay here!
We had such a great time staying here for the long weekend. Arlene and Teresa were very welcoming and helpful.
