Our humble adobe, yes we said adobe not abode :) is a huge two-bedroom apartment with hardwood floors and LOTS of natural light. We believe sharing is caring, and seeing as how we will be sharing our toilet and common areas, we also look forward to sharing: conversation, a bowl of cereal, and/or a glass of wine with our guests (no pressure). We reside in an apartment complex in Old Louisville, one of the most eclectic and charming neighborhoods in the city--beautifully historic preserved homes, bike friendly roads, tree-lined streets, all within a diverse community and a short distance away from just about everything:
Louisville International Airport (SDF) -- 10 min drive (5.0 miles)
Central Park; St. James Court -- 5 min walk
The Palace; Mercury Ballroom -- 20 min walk; 5 min drive (1.0 mile)

While Bourbon, all-things Louisville Cardinals, The Kentucky Derby and the St. James Arts Festival are the city's staples, Louisville is also filled with great eats, an amazing lively arts scene, and some really genuine folks--very comparable to other major cities such as NY, Chi-town, Philly and San Fran without breaking the bank! During your stay, we'll be equipped and eager to share and recommend some of the city's gems!

These ladies were so sweet, and we had a great time even though we were only there for a day. The rooms were very comfy, warm, and inviting, and we definitely felt at home. This was our first AirBnB experience, and we're so glad we got to spend it with Teresa and Arlene!
Arlene Y Teresa were absolutely wonderful! The space was exactly as listed, and our hostesses were above and beyond accommodating. It was a pleasure to get to know them both as well as enjoy the conference we were attending.
I would stay with these ladies again in a heartbeat if my travels take me back to Louisville!
AWESOME! These women are so wonderful. I arrived after midnight and Arlene stayed awake to greet me. Then, we gabbed for a while and she gave me lots of tips on what to do in Louisville. The place is very clean and the living room is exactly as it looks in the picture. The neighborhood is quiet and there are these ginormous mansions on adjacent streets. Apparently, their neighborhood, "old Louisville," is full of these large Victorian houses. They have two delicious dogs who don't seem to have the barking gene and are super friendly.
I stayed here Tues, met friends for Wed, Thurs, Fri and returned to Arlene and Theresa on Saturday. Thanks A and T!!
Everything as advertised. Arlene Y Teresa were nice and very accomodating. Communication was excellent. Cute puppies, good coffee, great location.
Arlene and Teresa were amazing hosts; I felt very welcomed into their cozy home. The neighborhood was well situated for my needs, midway between the university and downtown. Parking was no problem despite the snow and busy neighborhood. They also have two adorable dogs!
I felt like I was visiting family. Arlene and Teresa were wonderful hosts! The guest bed was comfortable, the apartment was clean, their restaurant recommendations were spot on and their dogs are adorable. We had a great visit and would definitely stay there again.
We're a same sex couple, moms of two -- Sonny (cavachon) and Billie (terrier mix), social justice advocates, unbigoted consummate foodies, wine lovers, globetrotting aficionados, bookworms, and music enthusiasts--by way of Brooklyn, NY setting some roots here in Louisville. After experiencing some serious hospitality as guests of AirBnB hosts, we could not help but to pay it forward!
