The listing description was completely accurate, and the host was quite excellent--materials were readily available, and a very helpful informational packet was presented to us once we walked in. The only difficulty was in finding the place; having never been to St. Pete Beach, it was a little tough figuring out the location of the apartments because there were no signs to go off of. However, that was very trivial compared to the overall housing experience.
The unit was nice and as pictured, however it did not contain a king sized bed as advertised and smelled musty when we arrived. I was surprised at the lack of toiletries, but there was a drug store near by. The location was great, directly across from the beach access.
I am sorry for the musty smell. We check all our units before each tenant and did not smell anything. As far a the king bed, we do not advertise a king bed in that unit. That unit has a queen bed. We provide enough toiletries to get you started but after that toilet paper and paper towels have to be bought by the guest.
The condo itself is nicely updated and comfortable. Our concerns come from the lack of response / follow up we had to problems we encountered during out stay. The first day the toilet started to overflow, we shut the water and plunged to no avail. We called Beach Time and were told they would get the plumber out. After several hours we called back and it was obvious he had not been called. We waited some more and finally a guy showed up who was NOT a plumber and he plunged it. This did not work and he had to call the plumber so we had to wait some more - 5 hours total waiting for the plumber. When he got there it was major and required another hour of work. Two days later the toilet won't flush - we once again call and after almost 2 hours we get somebody in to fix it. During this time the coffee pot also stopped working. We have asked Beach Time for compensation SEVERAL times for the time we wasted having to wait for the plumber to fix the ONLY toilet in the unit. They keep saying that Annie will get back to us and nobody ever gets back to you. In addition, we were told to leave the key in the lock box if we didn't want to wait but we learned that the NEIGHBOR has the code to the lock box so we did not feel comfortable leaving all our things in there under the circumstances. We wasted almost an entire 8 hours waiting to get the toilet fixed and have received no compensation nor any response from Beach Time. You might want to consider staying elsewhere. There is a sign up at the condo complex informing residents of plumbing issues in the building. It was a disappointing stay to say the least.
Great space and location. I was extremely comfortable during my stay here. Looks just like the pics. Nicely furnished, very clean, extremely fast WiFi, easy to get into when I first arrived, and Victoria at Beach Time Realty Group was a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.
Max was very accommodating and very accessible. Great place to stay and explore the Tampa Bay Area. Would definitely stay with Max again!!
