For the foreseeable future, only one room is available on some weekends. That room has a single bed and a rather nice LL Bean air mattress.
Regular availability will open up on July 1.

A recent newspaper story about Wilmington: (website hidden)_Delaware_city_was_a_gracious_host_.html
Ed's historic home in Cool Springs was great. He's very accommodating and the room was comfortable. He had many suggestions for cafes, restaurants and even the Cool Springs Farmer's Market. He's very friendly and easy to strike up conversation with.
Highly recommend Ed's!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ed's lovely and home! He was a great host and is very knowledgeable about Wilmington and its history. He helped us find bikes to rent, and also suggested we take a tour of the beautiful Winterthur mansion and gardens, while kindly offering a scenic ride there. It was a great introduction to Delaware. We look forward to our next stay with Ed!
Ed was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was exactly what I needed for my brief stay and close to where I needed to be in Wilmington. I would definitely stay with Ed again.
Ed was a great host and did everything he could to give me a comfortable place to stay. I had a lot of fun chatting with him and Barnabas (the cat) and hope to see him again in the future!
Very considerate and helpful. Ed was flexible enough to take care of my car parking. He let me use his refrigerator and microwave. Quiet atmosphere in & around the house. Great host.
We had a great stay. Ed was the perfect host. He was very helpful with tips on getting around Wilmington. Accommodations were clean and comfortable and nice and quiet!
Ed was very friendly and welcoming. His home is clean and he had towels waiting for me. He also made me breakfast in the morning. Easy person to have a conversation with. Would definitely come back if in the Wilmington area.
I was attending a training class in Wilmington and needed a clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay. Ed provided all that and more! He was a gracious host with entertaining stories once I walked in the door. The room was very comfortable and clean and even included my own private bathroom. Ed respected my needs to study and I hardly knew he was in the house. I would highly recommend this location.
Ed was a great host. Home was well maintained and in a great location. I enjoyed my stay and plan on returning.
Ed is really kind and hospitable. He gave me a lot of advises of tourist attractions. I really have a good time in Delaware. Thank you!
