A typical French Farmer's market where you can find everything from fresh milk and cheese to fresh cherries and apricots or homemade pate. Enjoy a glass of wine after your finished shopping at the lively Baron Rouge (1 rue Théophile Roussel) while rubbing shoulders with the fishmongers, butchers or trendy locals.

The Viaduc des Arts and the Promenade Plantée are 10 min walk from the apartment.
We stayed at Franck's apartment for 6 days. It was very nice, just like it was described and in the pictures. The apartment was comfortable and looks like it is used just for rentals, so there is plenty of storage for clothing and toiletries. The kitchen is large and open (although we didn't do any cooking while we were there). The bed is king-sized and very comfortable. The apartment is on a very quiet side-street, we slept with the windows open. Didn't hear the neighbors once. It was hot in Paris while we were there, but there is a nice cross-breeze that kept the apartment comfortable (no A/C). Franck left out information about good restaurants nearby (we highly recommend his recommendations!). The location was a little outside the hotspots but very close to a Metro station, and it only took about 20 minutes to get to central Paris to see the sights. We recommend doing some exploring around the area as well - the area around Place Des Vosges is wonderful and easily within walking distance or a very short Metro ride. Franck was very responsive to questions via text (or Airbnb message) during the visit.
Note: the shower is very small. My husband and I are tall but not very wide and we had difficulty moving around in the shower. It did not detract from our experience but should be noted for people that need or want a larger shower space. Have no idea if this is normal or not for Paris.
My wife and I stayed for three weeks and we are over all quite happy with the experience. As others have pointed out, the place is small (especially the shower), but functional. We cooked various simple meals and had no problems, and the dishwasher was great to have. Internet was available and wi-fi speed was adequate.
The apartment is located on a bit of a side street and is relatively quiet. Note that the wall separating the bedroom from the adjacent apartment is a bit thin and noise levels will depend on how noisy your neighbours are.
As to its location, we found it very convenient. There are a number of restaurants and cafes nearby as well as quite a few grocery stores. It is walking distance to the Aligre Market which has a fresh vegetables/fruit component in the mornings.
There are two nearby small parks/gardens where you can sit in the shade and watch some authentic Parisian life for those quieter moments.
The apartment has easy access to three Metro lines, the 8 is the closest, basically around the corner, with the number 1 (great for quick access to the Louvre) just a short walk away. As well the 9 is also a short walk away. Over all, we found getting to most major tourist sites easy, while enjoying a quieter/less touristy corner of Paris.
There are two flights of stairs and no elevator to reach it, so we would not recommend it for anyone that might have mobility issues, otherwise, as long as people are aware of its limitations, there will be no problem.
Franck was terrific as a host. Instructions were clear and responses to our few questions were prompt.
We enjoyed our stay very much. We dined at the recommended restaurants and all was delicious! The bathroom was a bit small but everything else is just as described. Clean apartment and well stocked!
Fully recommended. Clean and modern as described. Great location and nice recommendations from Franck!
Merci à Franck pour son accueil très chaleureux. L'appartement est magnifique, suréquipé, idéalement situé. Un vrai cocon au coeur de Paris. Un lieu dans lequel je retournerai volontiers.
