  • This was a a great place in a wonderful location. I found the room exactly as described, it's compact, comfortable and private which was everything I was looking for. Oron responded immediately to any queries I had and was exceedingly helpful. As a base to explore the beautiful city of Philadelphia it's just perfect. I am already planning a return trip,

  • Oron's place was very central to most of the tourist hot spots in Philadelphia which was handy. Oron was very helpful and quick to respond to a toilet issue had someone over to fix it within half an hour. Very easy checkin/checkout. The unit itself was very small even for just two people with luggage. There was no tv and the shower doesn't have a proper head on it. But the bed was comfortable, it had a heater, bar fridge and all the basic utensils. I would recommend this place for a single traveler but it is doable with a couple if you dont mind a tight fight.

  • Great stay at Oron's studio. Place was easy to find, centrally located at the heart of Philadelphia/Rittenhouse Square area. Place was clean and accommodations generally very comfortable. Would recommend it as a place to stay!

  • What a great location. There are lots and lots to eat, drink, and be merry within stone's throw of this place. I had stayed here during frigid winter cold snap. The room had a heater and warm blankets, so I was comfortable. It is a simple place, and the space is smaller than I was expecting. But it is private, quiet, secure and very reasonably priced for the area. Oron is a responsible and kind host. He came to the recuse when I left the room key in the room! He also has a pretty robust list of spots to check out. The other neighbors in the building who I only saw a few times when entering and leaving the building friendly and thoughtful. Overall, good.

  • It was our first visit to Philly and had a great time! The studio was well kept and in a good area. We were within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Good food, bars, shops, and sights.
Our host was very gracious and always went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. He sent a plumber to fix a problem we hadn't really noticed. He also kept fresh sheets and essential toiletries.

  • I had the pleasure of staying in both of Oron's Rentals at this address. Though I much preferred the second floor apartment, the first floor was charming in it's own right. Both rooms were tiny, but given that I only needed a place to sleep, it was perfect. The second day into my stay Oron called and had a new bed delivered while I was at work. And on my second to last day Oron asked if I could move from 2nd to first floor, so he could renovate the bathroom. (The first floor has access to an old Philly courtyard, as an added bonus) I obliged and he comped me a night's stay to say thank you. Oron was able to respond very quickly to any questions, and was always pleasant. My only complaint is the shower on the second floor, it's a hose style shower that needs to be balanced on a curious metal clip, and will occasionally fall and scare the shit out of you. Not to mention that luke warm is the hottest it will get.

  • Location, location, (email hidden)at's the main draw card for Oron's place.

Unfortunately my wife & I didn't get much sleep as we found the mattress very uncomfortable. We found it bowed heavily in the middle, leaving our backs in a bit of pain in the morning. We tried flipping the mattress over to see if it would improve, but unfortunately it didn't. (It seems I wasn't the only one to encounter the same problem. *previous guest post)

The water in the shower takes a long time to warm up, just under 2 minutes. When warm, it's luke warm and stays that way only for a few minutes before going colder.

There was only one mug available to us, which was inconvenient as there was 2 of us. It was a bit weird having no pans/pots available as an electric stove was provided.

I don't think it's fair to say that the unit has been recently remodelled, as it wasn't really in the best condition. Some of the vinyl tiling has come off (& about to come off) in the shower.

  • As former residents of Philadelphia, we appreciated the apartment's location most of all. With two people and suitcases from an international flight, it was a tight squeeze, but suited our needs. We found the apartment clean, but in need of some maintenance likely due to the age of the building itself. The lack of hot water was a downside. "Check-in" and "check-out" was simple and flexible. We would recommend the apartment for solo travelers or couples traveling light looking for a good value in the middle of the city.

  • This studio is in the perfect location for a Philly visit! It was very clean, and Oron's is quick and helpful when responding to messages/emails. Would definitely recommend!!

  • My boyfriend and I stayed here for marathon weekend. The location could not be more convenient. We were able to walk to race activities, sightseeing, great restaurants, and the Amtrak station. Check in/out is simple as the key is in a realtor box at the front door. The studio itself is cozy, perfect for two people. We enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again if we find ourselves back in Philadelphia!
