Salvatore's apartment at 2 Rue Saint Siagre was clean, modern, and efficient. We were very impressed by the modern features and updates in the flat. The flat isn't decorated as pictured in the listing (nautical themed), but it is still cute, functional, and modern. The washer was…

This apartment was in a very convenient spot in Nice. Getting the keys was easy and it was great to be downtown so close to the train station. It did not look exactly like the pictures, however, and was missing a lot of basic necessities like paper towels or hand soap. Also, t…

Salvatore's flat was located in a great location. It was only a minute walk from the main shopping street and about a 15 minute walk to the beach. Although small, his flat was good enough for us 3 people. Everything was clean and well kept. Although i didn't meet Salvatore, the p…

We had a great experience renting from Salvatore! The apartment was exactly as promised and perfect for 3 people, very clean with lots of sunlight. Location was great, close to the train station but away from most street noise. About a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and the old c…

My stay in Nice was amazing. The apartment was very well situated and easy to find from the train station. I stayed withy boyfriend for about 4 days and was welcomed very kindly. The only problem we had was a mild connection problem with the wifi.

The flat was clean, came with fresh sheets and towels and the kitchen was semi-stocked (basic pots/pans/utensils/cups). The location was quite close to the main road though the middle-of-the-night construction on the street didn't help. But overall, not the best AirBnB experience…

Response from Salvatore:
First, let me tell you that I am sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. Allow me to clarify some few things. Regarding the construction in the streets, I am really surprised that they would do such thing during the night as it is illegal. However, this is in no manner under my control. Regarding the internet, I try my best to fix it. I had to change provider because the connection was working randomly. However, this takes time. I call regularly to rush them. It should be over soon. In the meantime, I can only accommodate people to the best of my ability. Regarding the misunderstanding of the beds, it is indeed a very stupid story. I did not understand the question because it was way too far-fetched for me: how could you deduce from the pictures on the offer that there could be three beds? I'm really stunned about knowing that your friend slept on the ground for 6 nights. I would have brought another mattress if you had told me... Regarding my communication skills, English is the default international language and I work on improving mine (a friend of mine did help me for writing this message). However, as you know, English is not an official language here and I don't recall you speaking some French. So please be a tad humble when talking about communication skills. Finally, regarding me being late the first day, I explicitly set conditions in my first mail. Indeed, I need people to send me a message by Sms, (Hidden by Airbnb) or mail a bit before they arrive in order to organize myself. I do that because many travelers do not come at the time planned or come at the same time and because I don't live next door and I have several rented flats all across the city. Even if doing such simple thing is easy in France, you decided not to do it. And that's somehow OK to me. But then please do not be surprised if I do not arrive right on time... If people do not respect my conditions, I usually do my best. More than that, I just can't. Last but not least, I rent flats and do not run an hotel. It is not that I have to adapt myself to you or you have to adapt yourself to me but we both have to adapt to one another. As far as I can tell, I did my best in that perspective. Can you say so? I also had plenty of AirBnb experiences before (see all comments) and, for the very vast majority, the interaction went a lot better.
