About this listing
Save 11.5% on taxes with my listing as I am 1/2 a mile outside the Portland city & Multnomah county border. This room is a very large master bedroom, queen size bed, with an en suite bathroom and a nice view looking out the window.
Large master bedroom with queen bed and en suite bathroom with a French provincial decor. The entire apartment is nicely appointed and in quiet area of Portland.
Nice view out of the bedroom window that feels like you are in the mountains while in the middle of the city.
Feel comfortable relaxing in the living room or on the balcony and to use the kitchen or dining room for a nice meal.
Wifi throughout apt.
Seasonal pool and year round hot tub in complex.
There are walking paths around the neighborhood, some areas of the paths are in wooded area with stream.
New Seasons is the closest grocery store, is local and specializes in bringing fresh, organic foods from local farmers and food distributors. There is a broad range of restaurants both to the north and south of the apartment. I am happy to give recommendations for restaurants, bars/pubs, etc, activities, local events...
There are two different bus stops right out side the apt however the time it takes to go into downtown doesn't make it practical to use, thus a car is recommended. Downtown is a 10 minute drive north. The airport is a 25 minute drive. There is parking available at the complex.
I am a pretty flexible and laid back person. The one thing that I am strict about is smoking. Not only do I not allow smoking in my place but it is not allowed anywhere on the complex's property.
You will have a key and can come an go as you please. I request that if you are up and moving around the apartment before 7am and past 10pm that you just do so in a quiet manner. I follow this policy myself for my guests. If you are someone who goes to bed early please let me know and I will be sure to be quiet according to the hours that you will be going to sleep.
I think the rest is self explanatory - please treat my home and belongings with the same respect that you would want others to treat yours.
Regarding having "parties" or other guests, if you are visiting Portland because you know people here and therefore would potentially want to have guests over as part of the visit we can discuss having them over. I have had this circumstance with a few guests and I have been okay with it because so far it was within reason (e.g. one or two guests visiting during normal awake hours). Conversely, occasionally I want to have my friends over. If I have a guest booked I discuss this possibility with them. If you have any reservations about it, please share so I can act accordingly.
