  • Tim was great. The space was comfortable and inviting, and the many travelers passing through made the experience interesting and fun. Made a few friends. If you're passing through Atlanta, give Tim a shout. I'm sure he'll find a spot for you no problem.

  • Stayed in one of Tim's homes last week. He is a fantastic host; very personal , flexible, responsive, accommodating and can offer several lodging options. I contacted three hosts and Tim was not just the only one that responded, but did so within 15-30 minutes! He introduced me to others staying with him and made the booking process and stay a pleasure. I would recommend you try Tim for overnight, short-term or long-term lodging.

  • Tim is an amazing host! He upgraded me from a bunk bed to a private room with a queen bed for no extra charge. He was extremely welcoming and I'm disappointed I only had the 2 nights in Atlanta. His directions to the apartment were easy to follow, and if I'm ever in Atlanta again I know I'll be coming back I one of Tim's properties.

  • Tim was a great host. Although I didn't meet him in person, we talked and he let me stay in a private room that wasn't in use, even though I payed for a shared room. The house was cozy and the other guests were very nice. But the location isn't great. You must take a bus (short walk from the room) or walk to the nearest subway station and the neighborhood is a bit unsafe, specially to a woman travelling alone. Sometimes the bus takes a long time to come and you waste a bit of time on that. If you arrive late at the subway, the bus has already stopped and you either have to walk (not recommendeď if you're alone or carrying shopping bags) or call for a cab to pick you up at the station, wich isn't easy, for not all cabs want to ride at that neighborhood at night. I recommend either renting a car or, if it gets late, step out 4 stations before (peachtree center) and get a cab there.

  • Tim was great, my first day there I had no access into the house because there was no key but Tim immidiately fixed the problem. There were a couple of things I did not like, the walk from the house to the Marta train station, it is not close, and neighborhood does not seem safe at all. The wifi wasnt working very well in the hostel area and the air conditioning does not cover ths area as well so its really hot!

    Response from Tim:

The Marta bus stop is a 2 minute walk from the house so it's very easy to get to the west end station in less time than walking to the Oakland city train station so I would recommend doing that next time. Also, I have four properties so I am always flexible on your accommodations.

  • I only stayed for one night in Altanta... Tim's hostel was definitely the best place to spend that one night at.

It is really easy to find the address from the airport. The room I got was not even a shared room that I booked: Tim gave me a really nice private room, because it was by chance free. The others provided me company, the community kitchen is a perfect place to sit around and chat with fellow travelers. Everything is absolutely clean and neat. Six out of five stars.

  • This is probably the best place I've stayed in my life. This house has so much character and so many interesting and loving personalities it's ridiculous! This basically is the only place I'll stay in Atlanta! I extended my stay because it was so nice!

  • I had a great time staying with Tim, he is a very welcoming and informative host.
The bed I slept in was very clean and comfortable. Public transport is directly adjacent to the house which is really convenient. It takes a little while to get into downtown on public transport but I definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in Atlanta.

About
I am a very relaxed and easygoing and open minded guy looking to host people and make new friends around the world. I have always wanted to work in the hospitality industry since I was a kid it was a dream of mine to own my own bed and Breakfast. I lived in my home on Tift Ave for almost eleven years. I have hosted many friends and travelers from around the world in my historic home. Now that I found out about Air BNB, I am opening my home to you. I now have four properties close to downtown Atlanta two in historic Capital View neighborhood and two in Historic Adair Park neighborhood. they are both very close to downtown and walking distance from the marta train station and bus stops so Its very easy to get around the city without the need for a car. Several of the homes also can be booked entirely for larger groups.I also have many hostel spaces available great for travelers on a budget. I love to share travel stories drink good wine and eat good food. I like almost anything as far as food goes and red and white white alike as well (email hidden). I really don't have any major rules just be a polite guest as I will be a great host and even show you around if you need me to. I also love the outdoors and know some great places to hike in Atlanta. I also love to cook, drink wine or beers and eat good food and have a Nice large kitchen for you to make yourself at home in as well as each house has a great private backyard and fire pit and large front porches, The house I live at on Tift Ave has a hot tub that's great for skinny dipping and also has 3 cats and a small dog you will love. My other properties do not have any animals unless a guest happens to have one.
