Tim was very accommodating when I reached out to him to make a reservation. I made the reservation the same day and he did a great job in communication. The room was in the exact conditions that the description had online. However, I did not really like the neighborhood or the cleanliness that the overall house had.
Quick replies, everything worked, good value for money!
This was already my second stay at one of Tim's private rooms in Atlanta. And as last time, I had a very good stay and felt really homey. The place has different rooms that are rented out and thus, there is always an opportunity to meet new, interesting people from all over the world! Tim takes good care of the place, stops by usually once a day and is a very helpful and friendly host. Thank you!!!
Tiny but clean room in the South of Atlanta. About 20min walk to Marta, but there's also a bus connection. Tim rents out the whole house so it's more a backpacker atmosphere than a quiet spot to relax and work. However, if you love to meet people from all around the world and travel on a budget, it's a great place!
Good value for money and Tim is a great, very helpful and reliable host. I asked him tons of questions before my arrival and he not only answered within a very short timeframe but also provided really helpful information. Thanks Tim, I'll come back in October :)
I had a great experience at Tim's place. I had to change my travel plans at the last minute and I was able to book the place only 4-5 hours before I arrived. I arrived late that night, and Tim was accommodating to my late arrival. A great host.
Everything about the room was also nice. Towels were there for me, the room was comfortable.
I had a short trip but was glad to stay at Tim's. The room was just what I needed - private, single, bed. Good enough to crash during my stay. The 95 bus was 1 minute away and took me straight to the MARTA train station. From there, Atlanta was pretty easy to navigate. I had a good time and appreciated all the access to the bathroom, kitchen, porch, etc. I would definitely consider staying with Tim again. It's not in the heart of the city, but easy enough to get there.

About the Host, Tim
I am a very relaxed and easygoing and open minded guy looking to host people and make new friends around the world. I have always wanted to work in the hospitality industry since I was a kid it was a dream of mine to own my own b&b. I lived in my home on Tift Ave for almost 15 years. I have hosted many friends and travelers from around the world in my historic home. Now that I found out about AirBNB, I am opening my home to you. I now have five properties close to downtown Atlanta three in historic Capital View neighborhood and two in Historic Adair Park neighborhood. they are both very close to downtown and walking distance from the marta train station and bus stops so Its very easy to get around the city without the need for a car. Several of the homes also can be booked entirely for larger groups.I also have many hostel spaces available great for travelers on a budget. I have male and female dorms. My 22 year old daughter is also a host at the female dorm house on Fairbanks Street She has a wonderful dog Grace that will stay mostly in her room .I love to share travel stories drink good wine and eat good food.
