Our cool and open house is made entirely from coconut wood. All the comforts are included in the home including kitchen and plunge pool. One minute walk to white sand beaches and restaurants. Book one room and you still have the whole house to your self !!!!!!

The Space

The ocean, the surf, the white sand beach and restaurants are only a 1 minute walk away with direct access from the house. The house is very open with cool breezez. Laze in the very private plunge pool or settle down to a great DVD (many to choose from). Grab some fresh fruit and vegetables from the village and cook up a storm in the kitchen. All the comforts of home.

Guest Access

Guests have access to many activities ranging from surfing, SUP, swimming, fishing, snorkeling, diving and a very cultural visit. Rent a scooter for the day (no license required) or a push bike. Tour the island and see the many beautiful beaches and views.

Interaction with Guests

Guests will be met when they arrive on the island. The staff will guide you to your room and help with rentals of surf boards, scooters, bikes, tours etc. You will have your room cleaned daily and the owner of the villa will most definitely come to visit if she is on the island.

The Neighborhood

The beach house is situated only a minutes walk to the beach. Backing onto a 5 star resort (Indiana) Very safe area with a beautiful white sand beach and surfing.

Getting around

Once you are on the island you can hire motor scooters or push bikes to get around the island. No License required. Or you can get a guide who will take you on a bike or small truck to see the most spectacular views. Snorkeling or diving is a must to see the beautiful coral reefs and marine life. Staff can organize all of this for you.

Other Things to Note

  • The villa is clean and airy, a bit smaller than it appears in the photos, but nice. The beach is close by but isn't that suitable for swimming so you have to get a scooter to dream beach etc. The staff are very accommodating but privacy was a bit of an issue for my stay. (email hidden) for a couple or friends to share, but perhaps a bit much if you're travelling solo/on a budget.

  • Very unhappy - ruined holiday. Pool green and unhealthy. Requested it to be serviced and waited half a day and Chouper rang 7.30pm to say done but still looked bad. No water as per welcome note from Diane. During night power went off - still not on by 9.00am so tried to contact Chouper - packed some things and walked to a hotel and booked in. Contacted Diane to explain and she advised me later Chouper had spent the electricity money so no power. The same thing happened to a friend in February but was told black-outs but the pool was the same bad green colour. As I go to Lembongan every year (since '99) I am not impressed with her management of this property. This boy should not be left to look after paying guests.

  • We had a lovely time in the beach house and would recommend staying here.
The communication with Diane was very helpful and sorted out all our transfer detail which was fantastic.
The house is very nice and located in the perfect spot next to the Indiana resort with a great Pool which we used.
Chouper was a great help and organised our tours and rescued me when my bike decided to die on me. We were provided with a mobile phone which was a huge help and gave added security.
We were very close to some very good warungs, sukanusa which is only a few steps away did great food and shipwreck bar did nice breakfasts and was located on the beach.
We felt very safe and I think we were very lucky to find (email hidden) in a great location.
Chouper was very helpful and very funny and made us laugh every time we met him.
    Thanks for a great stay!

  • This was such an insanely good place to stay. It is quite literally 1 minutes walk to the best beach in Nusa Lembongan, the nicest restaurants and pretty much everything else you need. The house itself is GORGEOUS with air con in the bedroom for those of us who struggle to sleep in tropical heat. The guys who look after the place are fabulous too - keen to help out with anything or book anything you need. We cannot recommend a snorkeling trip with Captain Eric enough (ask the guys to contact him for you) - he is great value for money, hugely experienced, safe and generally awesome. Thank you Diane for the best holiday ever :)

  • Having been to Lembongan before and always booking home stays I wasn't sure what we will get. The villa is absolutely beautiful, it is massive bargain and great value for the money. Diane has great staff who will look after you with booking all diving, snorkeling, renting bike or what you may need with reasonable prices, without the usual tourist rip off.
To the property itself, it is a dream holiday house in perfect condition and I would absolutely recommend it to everyone! When going back for another long weekend, I will always try to stay with Diane.

  • Zeer genoten van alles en vooral zeer tevreden over de service daar Dian alle transport heen en terug had geregeld . Wij hadden het huis voor ons tweetjes en dat was zalig natuurlijk . Thx D.! Aanrader !

  • We had a great 7-night stay on Nusa Lembongan at Diane's house. Diane organised boat transfers for us with Marlin which all went smoothly (including drop off to her house). The house was lovely, clean and as pictured. The small private pool was great to cool off in. Diane was very responsive when we had questions and Ditak was around regularly to assist with any issues.

The house is in a good location at the north end of the main beach in Jungutbatu and was very convenient to beach-front restaurants, bars and resort pools, to EXCELLENT French food at Indiana Kenanga (next door), a mid-sized food shop at the end of the lane, as well as other restaurants (make sure to try Pondok Baruna!).

The only issue we had with Diane's house was that there was no mosquito net in the bedroom. While there was a fan and Aircon, we had a few hot nights when the power to the island went off, and we didn't want to open the windows and then contend with the mozzies.

Nusa Lembongan was a great location for a relax, and for lounging by the pool. We went snorkeling off Nusa Penida twice with World Diving (AMAZING!), sat in bars, visited other resort pools and generally did very little :) Highly recommended.

  • This one is a really nice accommodation once staying in Nusa Lembongan, very close to the beach if interested in diving opportunities or spending entire time sitting in one of the beach restaurants. Its NOT a beach for a swim or laying around though, for this you'd have to take a bike or cab ride to some other places which would cost you extra smth between 6 and 18 Euros a day for a return trip. The house itself is very comfy, clean and light. I liked the open nature of the building and its style a lot as well as the whole privacy one gets here. There's no wifi in this house, but despite that everything else one might need for vacation. I booked a room for a week, but ended up having the entire house because no other guests were there at the time - that was a great unexpected upgrade for me:)) A special thank also goes to Ditak, the housekeeper who is in charge of a house and fulfilling the wishes of the guests!

  • this place is awesome. After 5 days kuta we were desperate for peace and quiet. dianes villa was excactly what we were looking for. her staff ditak is lovely, he is taking care of all your needs i.e. motorbike rental, watersupply, diving, even haircuts (After 3 month traveling we needed that). the contact with Diane was very professional she always replied quickly to answer any questions and to help with the travels to Lembongan.
the villa is cleaned every day with fresh towels. the house is spacious and we loved to come home after diving or touring around the island and to refresh in the little pool. it wasnt noisy at all (you just need to get used to the roosters if you travel around bali) and we loved the privacy.
there are Shops an Restaurants all along the little road to the village or at the sea, all very close walking distance.
Lembongan is laid back and much calmer than Bali. We loved it and will come back to Dianes villa for sure.

  • This villa is very beautiful, just as the pictures show. We were however very disappointed with the beach, which had quite a lot of rubbish on the sand and many many boats in the water. Nice enough to look at but not nice for swimming, and it was clear that no-one swam at this beach. We were hoping for a beautiful clean beach for our one-year-old daughter to play in and did not find that here. We ended up leaving early for this reason.

There were some issues with the villa - the hot water wasn't working when we arrived (but was fixed fairly fast), the power went out twice in two days and the fridge wasn't working at all. We also experienced a few noise issues, namely motorbikes starting up and driving around all through the night, roosters crowing all night, and a megaphone broadcasting some sort of chanting, again all through the night.

We were also left waiting at the boat for quite a while due to a mix-up with who was going to pick us up and when, despite having called that morning to confirm our arrival time.

Not recommended if you're looking for a swim-in-the-beach holiday but very nice otherwise.

Hi. I live on Nusa Lembongan island which is a 30 minute boat ride from Sanur ( east coast of Bali). I love living here and the laid back life style, beach and culture of this beautiful island.
