The condo is a one-bedroom suite, with a separate living room and dining space, furnished with 32' TV and DVD player; you can watch an old movie after an exhausting sight-seeing tour and relax like being home.
Equipped with a laundry machine; you are welcome to freely use it.
Interaction with Guests
My family and I don't live in the building, so in general, you won't see much of me unless assistance is required. I can arrange the pick-ups from the train station per your request, but I do have a full time job so I'd be more likely to do so on weekends. Just ask me!
The condo is located in a nice quiet neighborhood, surrounded by historical buildings. During the night it's very nice to walk around and have a cup of coffee and relax.
A bus stop (the Jheng Ancestral Shrine) is right outside the alley, and the tour bus (Anping #88) will be making its rounds every 30 mins which will take you to most of the tour spot. You could also rent a bike to get around the town.
Other Things to Note
I have a folding bed that could accommodate one extra person, and I have another cushion to be put on the floor which can accommodate another person. Additional charges are NT$300/person/night. The additional guests will be given an extra pillow and a blanket; let me know in advance if you need it.
Upon checking-in, you will be provided with 2 bottled waters, towels, shampoo, bath gel, and tooth brushes. There will be no housekeeping or change of towels during your stay unless its more than a week.
The gas line has been removed, so no cooking in the premise, but there's a microwave for your use.
I think they should improve the cleaning service and to keep clean for the whole environment. We found a white insect on the bed, and their toilet is easy to stuck.
The landlady is a responsible person. She responded our queries promptly & is very helpful. Her mum is very friendly & helped buying us breakfast the 1st day. She also bought us some fruits which is very fresh! The location is at the city centre & is very convenient for travellers. The room is spacious & is large enough for 3 persons.
The location is very good! It takes less than 5 minutes to get to the famous old Japanese department store Hayashi. The owner was also very welcoming. The overall experience was nice.
Kuan ling's place is so spacious and pretty. It's very clean too! Kuan ling is also very helpful and friendly. His dad was there to wait for us to arrive as she was working. We accidentally got ourselves locked out of the unit and within 10mins, kuan ling's dad came to our rescue! Her mom also came to clear the rubbish for us. Such a lovely family and we will surely recommend their place to others!!
Really enjoyed the central location of this apartment. It is certainly a large apartment with plenty of room. And the decor is bright and cheerful. We did not really use the kitchen facilities - too many options for eating out! But if we had wanted to there was no pots and pans to cook with. And the utensils were minimal - no spoons or forks supplied, only one plate in the room etc. I am sure the host would have supplied them if we had asked. The host was quick to respond to any questions and very helpful. Overall we enjoyed the apartment and enjoyed Tainan.
Good location , clean and comfortable. A good deal for the price. Will use it again next time I visit Tainan.
