Your own room in a home, plus access to shared spaces.
Please come stay with us in our home on Chestnut St, in the heart of Salem's renowned McIntire Historic District, a short walk from the Peabody Essex Museum, local attractions, & the waterfront. Enjoy a beautifully furnished room with private en suite bath.

The space
The very private bedroom is bathed in sun light with 4 windows overlooking our property. The antique bed is queen sized and features high-end cotton bedding & towels, both made by Frette . There is a private en suite bath with marble mosaic floor (floor is heated in the winter).

Neighborhood highlights

Our street was laid out in 1799 and is considered the first planned street in America. It is lined with grand homes built by Salem's wealthy merchant class in the years after the Revolutionary War. Across the street from our house is the Philips House, a museum owned by Historic New England. Two blocks away is Hamilton Hall (built in 1807), considered to be one of Samuel Mcintire's great Masterpieces. Our neighbors take great pride in their homes, maintaining them to very high and historically accurate standards. We're a short walk to downtown, the world renowned Peabody Essex Museum, the waterfront, and historic sites.
